But give McCain, Rudy, Romney, I'm definately still looking.

You must prefer open borders.He came up with the most conservative immigration bill that could possibly pass the Senate.He is a leader and he did so with out compromising his core values(citizenship,illegals staying in this country)

We need to tie Webb to national Democrats as quick as possible.I believe I saw Webb say he would support Hillary Clinton in 2008 over even McCain and Giuliani.This is something we can use.

Allen is 25 (or so) pts. ahead in the polls and has 13 times as much money in the bank as Webb.

It's not like he's slacking off.

I agree...but this whole independent maverick thing scares me.We need to show that he is NOTa independent maverick but rather a loyal Democrat.Webb needs to be attacked now before he gets in a stride.Others will disagree but I say hit hard and hit fast.

Thank you for posting this informative article. George Allen, despite some of his contradictions, seems a much more favorable Republican candidate than either McCain or Giuliani; he is more principled than G. W. Bush, and we might see his Jeffersonian sentiments applied to reduce the size and scope of government if he were elected.

I just posted on an OK GOP Chat site about supporting George Allen. The man is a law graduate and some folks on here say he has no intellect. I think some posters don't have a clue and will say anything to diminish what a terrific candidate George Allen would make for President.

That don't play well in Virginia. George Allen is well liked. He has no negatives that the RATS haven't already failed to exploit.

What he'll have to contend with is the media hysteria about Webb. But Webb has a temper and it's already flared a couple of times.
