Fair Tax gets 86% of vote in Georgia! Results will be sent to President Bush.

The FairTax was on the primary ballots in three Georgia counties yesterday. I have the results of the voting! Here you go.

Gwinnett County:

Total Votes: 35,755 Yes - 31,068. 86.9% No - 4,687 13.1%

Cobb County:

Total votes: 39,458 Yes - 33,598. 85.15% No - 5,860. 14.85%

Fayette County:

Total votes: 11,517 Yes - 9,828. 85.33% No - 1,689. 14.67%

According to Boortz the results of this vote will be personally handed to President Bush today via a Washington insider. The purpose of which is to convey the FACT that there is great support for this solution to current tax system and that this is a plan that can get the voters to the polls. Many of which called and e-mailed Boortz to say that they had no plans of voting yesterday until they learned that the Fair Tax was on the ballot.

Wow. That's a poll he might pay attention to. Could be the start of something big, but I wonder if it is, will it be before or after the election?

He'll ignore it, same as he ignores the costs of oil, the borders, and the opposition of amnesty for illegals. He's sold out.

LOL! You have descended into the depths of self-parody.

The President is a sellout if he refuses to govern by polls?

ROTFLMAO!

According to Boortz the results will be "personally handed" to the presided TODAY! By whom, he didn't say, perhaps congressman John Linder (Author of the Fair-tax bill)

Fair Tax?? Never happen. Washington is out of control with power and politics. The Tax Code is a tool for the Washington pols to solicit "legislation for sale" and other political favors from business and other groups. It is also a weapon which can be used, again for THIER purposes.

You will never see a Fair Tax, Flat Tax, or any tax that does away with the convenient flexibility of the Tax Code and the IRS as the goons who enforce !! Mark my words. And if this country is stupid enough to put a tax-mad, power-mad Marxist in the White House, well, you know the rest.

perhaps congressman John Linder (Author of the Fair-tax bill)
He isn't the author of the bill, he's the sponsor of the bill and co-author of a book...He's not bright enough to author anything on his own.

A) it's downtown boortz country - FT BS 24/7 from their "front man"

B) Linder did not write the FT bill (which is a giant red herring)

C) FT is a product of the AFFT which is headed by a mega-rich, mega-architect/builder in Texas who has declared jihad on the IRS.

LOL!

So, to follow your (il)logic: being a sellout is predicated not on any quantifiable reality, but on whether or not it strikes theDentist's fancy to randomly and arbitrarily label you one.

Again, how is the likelihood that the President will not decide to drop everything and conform his domestic policy to a poll being pimped by Neil Boortz - who isn't even a Republican - an indicator of the President compromising his principles?

Fair Tax gets 86% of vote in Georgia! Results will be sent to President Bush.

Just one more "will-of-the-people" thing that the Bush Administration can ignore. Wouldn't want his presidency to be ruled by the people, doncha know!!

Yup!

The majority of the country wants Illegals to be sent back, he's pushing amnesty. We want the border sealed, he's dragging his feet, orders some NG units there, but the illegals still pour through (and a few muslim terrorists as well). He's afraid to spend political capital on drilling in/around the US. He won't do a damn thing about the IRS, and he holds hands with Kennedy every chance he gets. He's a sellout. You can disagree.

Not with the attitudes that some of you King George Lovers display on these threads.

Bet you're sorry we're no longer under England's control. It's up to the people of the country (voters) to act and force the pols to get rid of the income tax abomination..

Now, now, let's not call others "not bright" - you have enough of a hurdle to overcome without that.

Oh, and E) (in response to your #11 and #12):

So says a guy who has stated he believes the income tax has nothing "inherently wrong with it".

Judge his veracity for yourself ...
