You're hopeless. Good luck. Your name is quite appropriate.
You're condescending attitude is typical catholic arrogance.
Nice plank in your eye.
Hardly. I'm quite hopeful that one day you, too, will learn to see past the lies, half-truths, and distortions of the MSM.
Would you mind if I make an addition?
5) The Christians did it so Israel could rebuild the Temple and advance Revelation prophecy...
If you read my entire post you will see that I became disillusioned with the catholic church. One of the main reasons, is the arrogance of it. Also, if you read this exchange in an unbiased manner you will see that I have been called ignorant, so I quote an article and give a link to that article, to substantiate why I am of the opinion that I am and that I am not ignorant of the situation and now the source (the AP via Yahoo) is not trustworthy.
arrogance
n : overbearing pride evidenced by a superior manner toward inferiors
Is this not what was taking place. I don't know about you, but where I come from, when someone is something (flattering or not) and you call them that, that is called description. However, when I choose to call someone something derrogatory and they clearly are not, such as ignorant, that is name calling.
One guess, you are catholic?
Does the pope agree with this entire statement?

This is the FIRST article I've seen that mentions a city other than in Iraq, Syria, Iran or Lebenon that calls a CHRISTIAN city "Holy"
He didn't even come close to 'condemning' Isreal when he asked them for "restraint" in their counter attack; only the totally ignorant, or a true anti-Catholic bigot could have ever interpreted Pope Benedict's plea for restraint as "condemnation" of Israel. Bush asked Israel for restraint too, and he made that very clear on Sunday; but that wasn't going to be viewed as a condemnation of Israel by you, now was it?
"For the honor of your church, I would suggest you study the Lord's word more than your pope's.
Again, pure bigotry by an ignoramous who just doesn't get it. The Church is the "bride of Christ", (2 Cor. 11:2), and doesn't need me to make her 'honorable'. Why would the Holy Father himself not have made his entire life a study of the Lord's Word? Why do you suppose his knowledge of Christ and His eternal Word is less than yours? This is what is laughable about many Protestants, they are merely self-appointed 'popes' who make themselves the final interpreter of Scripture; ignoring the dire warnings about doing this by Scripture itself. And you want to waste my time in a debate about Church doctrine? I don't need any warmups or practice debates from a member of "Christianity Light". Have a nice day, Mr. Bible Answer Man.
Is there a point where 2 billion Christians get fed up with Islamists? If the Christians rise up and fight in unison......??
I have shown you the article in which he does condemn them. I have backed up my statement. I am sorry that you see that as bigotry. God bless.
And I have shown you the article about President Bush demanding Isreali "restraint", and warning them not to disturb Lebanon's "fragile democracy". So I awiat your statement that Bush too has "condemned" Israel.
On a much more reasonable note, however, no logical person would ever consider the condemning of a particular action by a nation to be the condemning of the nation itself. To even think that the Vatican would "condemn" Israel is insane.
I think that point is beginning to formulate right now. The only thing standing between Christians fighting back against islamic domination and oppression are the liberals of the world, (who are also fighting against Christianity).
Christ's home is not on this earth but at the side of God. Everywhere else is a plot of land with some historical relevence.
This whole debate has been about the pope, not President Bush. First, there is a difference between restraint and condemnation. I cannot understand why you are continuing to argue this point that is indisputible. So I am simply not going to try any longer. You have been given proof as to why I feel the way I feel and you have come back with rhetoric taking you completely off of the topic being debated. Look, the pope condemned it last week. That is, was, and will be the basis for my issue with him on this situation. I gave you the bible verse justifying self defense (Roman 13:4). You choose to ignore it. You are a defender of the Catholic Church, I get it. But, defending blindly, ignoring facts and biblical justification does not do you or your religion any good. Remember, people from all faiths are a part of this site and read the posts, and when you just simply ignore facts and argue from emotion, you are doing a diservice to your faith. You need to remember that even you are an example to others in everything that you say, do, or post as the case may be. And by claiming so loud and proud your association with the catholic church, people's opinions of you will then be placed upon catholicism, like it or not, fair or unfair. It is just reality. So when you ignore the facts and are led blindly, people see that and say that all catholics do it. Same as when you name call and attack. You have made not only youself but other catholics look bad as well. Good day and good luck.
In Christ,
