70pc southern Lebanese have fled

ABOUT 70 per cent of the population of southern Lebanon - up to 350,000 people - have fled the region in the face of relentless Israeli bombardments, police said. The police estimate covered the frontier sectors of Tyre, Nabatiye and Zahrani, where the Shiite Muslim militia Hezbollah holds sway.

The United Nations sounded the alarm yesterday on the "catastrophic" humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, reporting 500,000 people across the country have fled their homes in the week since the Israeli campaign began.

Israel has urged residents of southern Lebanon to evacuate the region so Hizbollah would not use them as human shields while firing rockets across the border.

At least 310 people - 280 civilians and 23 soldiers - have been killed in Lebanon since the start of the Israeli offensive. Some 650 people have been injured.

Again, I ask, where are all the funerals? The MSM loves covering the funerals of the terrorists and 'innocents.' How come they aren't showing the funerals? There has to be some burials occuring somewhere...right?

Two sides to this: The terrorists (and those who have failed to control them) and Israel. And once again, the media reports on how many have died in Lebanon while skipping the death and injury toll in Israel. Yup. Them rockets just fly into this great giant black hole of invisibility for the MSM.

There's an interesting part to this war on terror. Israel misses a target, it's a tragedy. Hizbollah hits a town and it's just hitting a town. Israel was aiming for a military target and there's collateral damage. Hizbollah was aiming for civilian targets and it's not a news story.

And for that matter, where are the dead Hizballocks? Were all those dead "civilians" innocent workers at the Baby Milk Plant?

But according to Pat Buchanan, Isreal's killing rate is disproportional. "It's something like 10 to 1".

His vigorous attacks on Isreal's response in Lebanon make me wonder if he has any financial investments in "Paris on the Mediterranean".

as I watch the interviews with muslim Lebanese who have fled into Syria I am amazed and puzzled by the fact that NONE of them seem to have even the most remote clue that their country
is WRONG in allowing a vicious and active ,foreign supported terrorist organization to firmly take root in their country.
Once there they have illegally brought in thousands upon thousands of rockets and missiles and other arms , flooded their communities with them and use their communities to launch said weapons! To them ...this is all OK. They still want their little kids to grow up and go fight the Israelis.
I need to see little else to prove to me what an insane and stupid belief islam is and that all those that respect it are nuts ! Men ,women and children. The Israelis are probably doing the world a big favor killing off as many of them as they can. Their egotistical devotion to their 'cult' will bring the world down , if we let it....
