Maybe he signed up for the wrong profession because who in their right mind would want to be a army man? He should have studied harder in school and found a real job instead of joining the army. As sick as these responses are, I think they are a true representation of the Bush haters and that goes for the Anti- America crowd in general. No matter where you live in this great land of ours you will find these creeps. For now they are thankfully in the very vociferous minority. Heaven help us if they obtain powers beyond their numbers.

I was just watching an episode from season 1 of Boston Legal on DVD. They had a case where a high school principal (played by Chi McBride, resurrecting his role from Boston Public) had put an electronic device on the cable feed into the school which blocks Fox News, and only Fox News, from all the TVs in the school. He argued that Fox News had a right-wing conservative bias (he even showed clips from "OutFoxed" to prove it) and only promoted hate and violence. He argued that he was blocking the channel for the safety of the students!
That is absolutely amazing to me. Just compare the civil tone used here at FR vs. the vile hatred being spewed over at the DU site. Or look at what these people are saying. Look at the anti-war protestors rioting and inciting violence (in the name of peace). Who do these libs think they're fooling with this BS?

You are at the correct point. I had an aquaintance go rabid on me a few years ago. I mean just bonkers. Absolutely convinced about stolen vote conspiracy theories, illegal war, etc. Started sending me wacky emails under assumed names that I traced to her IP.These people are , like you said, insane.

I totally agree. Ann Coulter comes out with a new book, and immediately two NJ Assemblywomen call on all NJ bookstores to ban the book. Then some left-wing rag sends a letter to Ann's publisher demanding they pull the book from the shelves based on some bogus plagiarism charges. And yet our attitude is just the opposite... let 'em keep talking. They do more harm to themselves than we can ever do to them.

Same here. I had a very good friend from college "go college" on me (he was still there for a few years after I graduated, and became your stereotypical college student who believes the USA is evil and that Communism would be just). When I went back to the Alma Mater to visit the ol' crew, he was completely insane with the "Rove blew up the levies" nonsense. He was once a traditional historian such as myself, but he was reading anti-American revisionist balderdash penned by radical feminists and social-justice types. It's a shame--hopefully one day he'll see the light anew.
If you count "lalalalalalalala" like those old ladies do, yeah, they'll be singing a new song. New language, same words. "Death to America". They'll probably sing the second verse, "Death to Israel", too.
