I think there's a whole lot of stuff destroyed by IDF that we don't know about. Just posted an article in this thread that the IDF is going after banking targets. Even destroyed a banker's home as a warning. See post # 1535 for link.
I think I saw on Pipeline an interview with someone (lefty in Lebanon) the the IDF was using phosphorus in their bombs which I guess causes severe burns. No mention was made of what the Hezzies were using in theirs. Remember how upset the left was because we used cluster bombs? Don't hear much anymore.
Just heard on John Batchelor that we now have satellite photos that Pakistan is (& has been) constructing a breeder reactor (heavy water) that will be able to produce over 200 kg of Pu/year, i.e., lots of plutonium bombs for sale to whomever.
China is backing this effort. What does that do the world-wide scenario now? I reallllyyyy don't like this.

That same warning was repeated the first part of July. At any rate, there has been a travel warning for Lebanon for several years. Now, Restriction is something else. It's like your Dad telling you No, you canNOT go to that dance or face the consequences from me (in this case, the US gov) I don't know which countries fall under that today but a few years ago there were 6 or 7.

In all honesty- My theory is that the key is Russia.
Bush needs to grab Putz Face by the collar and make it clear- he needs to start ACTIVELY working in the best interest of OUR National SECURITY, or consider himself a FOE...
As long as Russia is able to get away with playing friendly while systematically doing everything possible to weaken us through business deals and UN dealings- everyone else will feel comfortable doing the same.
If the US and Russia come together... it kinda tips the scales a bit too much for all the "in yer face" antics of the enemy.....
just my take...anyway...Russia is not our friend...they will help everyone else bring us down - just as Iran, etc...
But we need to call their bluff on it and stop pretending we don't KNOW what they are up to.
After holding out for years I finally got cable tv a couple of weeks ago. I kept hearing about this guy Shep Smith. I have now seen him and have the following comments to make to him regarding his report today about his interviews with young, Israeli soldiers:
Shep, you DUMMY, of course they are going to say that the fighting is horrible. They are 18 years old and have never seen war before!
