Prime Minister Ehud Olmert accused the international media Sunday of bias by not properly portraying the "murderous viciousness" of the Lebanese guerrilla group Hezbollah in its war with Israel.
"The massive, brutal and murderous viciousness of Hezbollah is unfortunately not represented in its full intensity on television screens outside of Israel," Olmert told reporters.
"A twisted image is presented, where the victim is presented as an aggressor."
The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah broke out on July 12, when Hezbollah captured two Israel Defense Forces soldiers and killed eight others in a cross-border raid.

It's amazing that this made it into print, considering that Haaretz is Israel's own version of the New York Slimes.

Even Fox has been covering this as if Israel was the hurricane and Lebanon was New Orleans.

......was wondering if Turban Durbin got any mysterious letters about how the kidnapped soldiers of Israel are being treated....or perhaps where they are?...
Would you like to respond Senator Durban?
*cricket cricket*
...thought that might be the case
..now if the MSM would start to ask? I mean, they had a very real concern not long ago.

It seems Israel is always shown as the agressor, and there is no difference in a lot of the coverage of our MSM who just happen to be in the thick of it. I don't think any media should be allowed in. Shephard Smith is especially discusting in his interviews of the Israeli soldiers. Smith asked an Israeli pilot if he felt badly about bombing any Lebanon civilians..., on and on trying to embarass the young man.

Why would they. It might actually give credence to Israel's cause, and we can't have that now can we...s/o.

I totally agree! His coverage is insipid and degrading to everyone watching or involved. Emails to FOX don't seem to get a rise out of them. The women covering the war zone are excellent...and at least cover what is going on instead on injecting their own opinions in what they report.

Of course the Drive By Media IS anti-Israel. Prime Minister Olmert shouldn't be surprised and if he is, what planet has he been living on? We conservatives have been intimately familiar with DBM bias now for decades.
