A Decent Map Of Northern Israel

Someone posted a map a couple of days ago which labeled everything south of Lebanon "Palestine." I didn't think it was very good. Here I've scanned a road map which shows all of the places in the news on the Lebanon front for FReepers who are in need of such a map. The linked file about 500K.

I guess what drove me to post the map was going to look for "Bint Jbeil," (Lebanon) which is in the news tonight. It's "Bent Jebail" on my map and a blank space on the map you linked to.

In 1989 I spent 5 weeks on a dig at Banias while staying in Metullah.

The maps really do a good job of showing the area and the photos of Banias and Nimrod Castle bring back good memories.
