Perhaps, but I think you give Richard Engel (the reporter) too much credit in specualating that.

Engel was one who, in the early stages of the Iraq War, sent his driver down stairs from Engel's hotel room to gather information, so Engel didn't have to go down stairs. [The enemy were shooting at the hotel area.]

What seem sto be happening much to the Hezzies delight is the media is starting to put a humanitarian spin on it. Sheep got caught up with that and forgot that the Hezzies started this and are holding Lebanon as well as two Israeli soldiers hostage.

We were away visiting our son in another state and only saw very little TV. We did catch Shemp's interview with the father of the captured Israeli soldier.

My son, only recently out of the Army commented that Shemp was trying to put words into the father's mouth and to his credit, the father was no going there.

Someone on another thread pointed out that it looks like they were copying the serial numbers of a large quantity of bills, which is sometimes done by law enforcement agencies to track cash.

Could be one of our own sting operations to try to learn how terrorist cash is funneled through the organizations, or it could be the bad guys doing it for their own purposes.
