Jeb Bush had executive powers that he did not use. Shame on him. Now he's trying to blame Randall Terry for Terri's judicial homicide? It was Judge Greer who is friends with the Bushes' rich fat cat Sembler clan.
Years ago, a lot of conservatives criticized Barry Goldwater for saying that he "endorses and would vote for" then NY Senator Jacob K. Javits. Of course, Javits did ot return the favor in 1964. People in NY had great faith in Javits for a time at least.
I think FL will give King over 60 percent; people there are a lot more liberal than many of the conservatives on this forum think.
Dear Theodore R.,
Conservatives usually come out on the short end of this particular stick.
RINOs complain when we don't want to support them, but the trail of failed RINO support for conservatives and Republicans is long, littered, and bloody.

I recommend that you forward it on. Judge Greer is oh so close to Charlie Crist and to Senator Jim King. It is beyond scandalous!

It is a well kept secret that JUDGE GREER has been on a committee from Pinellas County that is charged with bringing dollars back to Pinellas County. Can you say conflict of interest? SENATOR JIM KING was the moneyman. Jim King likes the idea of starving people and Judge Greer goes to Tallahassee to get money for Pinellas County.
Connect the dots from one fool to the next. Fools want to rule Florida and unfortunately, they largely do already.
August 25, 2005 The Terri Schiavo Case: Schiavo Tangled Web Extends to St. Petersburg College Topics: News from Conservative Voice
Those now infamous words of Judge George Greer - "The law of this case is that she will die," I'll never forget how bizarre that sounded to me, actually ordering that a disabled woman could not even be given a chance to live but had to be starved and dehydrated to death. But everything about the Terri Schiavo case was bizarre, especially the acts of Michael Schiavo both before and after her death.
But the 'bizarreness' of the case goes beyond just strange -it goes to deceipt, lies and corruption, and it's begining to appear that as the days go by, more and more surfaces about the deceipt of Michael Schiavo. Just a few days ago we learned about Michael's lies about his college degree on his guardianship application, and now we learn about the not-so-little "matter of the testimony Schiavo gave under oath at a deposition in November, 1993, in a challenge to his guardianship when he testified that he had been attending St. Petersburg Junior College for almost two and half years now and had "just graduated EMT school.""
On his employment application filed with Pinellas County Sheriffs Department in July, 2004, when he applied for the position of jail nurse when Everett Rice was still sheriff, Schiavo said under penalties of perjury that he had attended the college from August, 1992 to August, 1993 and obtained his EMT certificate in 1993.
According to the colleges director of Institutional Advancement, Michael Schiavo was not awarded any college credit certificates and thus did not graduate from EMT school as he testified under oath. There is no EMT School at St. Petersburg.
Sorry, but I live in FL and saw Randall Terry speak, and he's not ready for prime time. Furthermore, he for some reason went into a totally unrelated tirade where he bashed Hispanics.
Florida has a large Hispanic population (legal) and I can't imagine what he was thinking. One woman left the room in tears, and I was about ready to walk out. I'm not Hispanic, btw, but I was really disgusted by the bigoted and inaccurate things he said. Furthermore, I couldn't understand why he had to say these things. People weren't there for that; they wanted to hear his pro-life stand and how he planned to achieve it.
I had gone to the speech because I wanted to vote for a strong anti-death candidate, and I was willing to work for him. However, that completely uncalled for stuff turned me off.
In his favor, I will say that I wrote to him, explaining my reaction, and he responded, so perhaps he's learning and growing. He's a good speaker and I think he could eventually be a good candidate/elected official. Just not this time around.
I hope he hangs in there, and the next time there's a shot at an influential elected office, I hope he's got it all together and can build a broad coalition, which is what he will have to do if he wants to get elected in Florida.
Hi FV. Hope you are doing well. It has been a long time since I've been on a thread with you. The Terri Schiavo case still makes my blood pressure rise, when I read about it. I still grieve over the murder that was sanctioned by our judical system.
I do NOT have respect for Jim King after the garbage he threw at conservative/ pro lifers during Terri's tragic fight for her life!! What's with Jeb endorseing him?? uggg
That being said, Tom Gallagher for Governor is doing better than the media and polls make it sound.
At least we aren't having hurricanes left and right this year. For two years, we were always on alert for the next one.
liberal = dumber than a box of rocks. RINO means dumber than liberal.
I would like to see the text of his remarks. He did the same thing about Republicans when he was in New York in 2004, and it was all accurate. I guess you could have left that room thinking he hated Republicans, but he was spot on.
PLEASE COPY, PASTE AND GET THIS EMAIL TO YOUR PEEPS.
Crist must be proud to be a member, photo op and everything! Didn't Harry Belafonte, an AARP spokesperson call the President a terrorist?
Character matters. King would be a bad choice. There are too many issues. And now there is the creep and sleaze factors along with various conflict of interests.
I am really suprised that Jeb is doing this. I, like many others, have thought that Jeb was solid, and could be trusted to do the right thing. Guess we are getting an education. As far as Crist, King and that despicable Greer, there is a cabal made for a Hollywood horror story. The problem here, as in any state, is that the voting public does not pay any attention, until it is too late. If Jim Davis runs against Crist (likely), then it is for Davis I will be. I would hardly ever vote for a Democrat, bu the thought of Crist and that Death Squad (hey, a great name "Crist and the Death Squad") makes me ill.
