While tragic, I continue to be amazed how the MSM forgets the 100 upon hundreds of missles being shot every day specfically targeting civilians in Israel.

If a college had a course in rationalizing, you could teach it. Adults and countries are responsible for their actions, even pure as driven snow, Israel. Those kids didn`t deserve to die and no amount of rationalizing will make it right.
What about the rockets into Israel? That`s wrong too. The Israelis should be going after Syria and Iran, but, they are cowards and won`t.

Well, not for the kids, but they were warned, right?

Well, my daughter was warned when the house next door was hit by rockets, so she took her kids (an 18-month old and a 7-week old) and got the hell out of Dodge, er, Safed.

Now they have been living in a temporary shelter for 3 weeks but you don't see it in the media because, hey, they only Jooz.

The Israelis, you see, actually care about their kids and don't kill them just for photo ops.

We could go back 60 years and find heart rendering pictures of German children of Hamburg & Dresden, as well as Japanese children of the Tokyo fire-bombings & of course Hiroshima & Nagasaki. You could go back to the beginnings of photography and still find similar pictures
All one has to do is read the play 'The Trojan Women' and see the horror of war on women & children was discussed in ancient times.
Unfortunately for Israel & for us there are not going to be any perfect choices. Fighting a war halfway just guarantees you will fight it again but at your disadvantage. I am convinced unless they win here Israel will be faced with taking its 3+ million population elsewhere or some point pulling the nuclear trigger on Iran. The question regarding Iran will be, 'Will Israel absorb a nuclear strike first then counterattack or will they strike first?'. My guess is Israel will have to survive an Iranian strike before they will hit back. World opinion will force them to trade of 5 to 10% of their population before Israel will have the moral authority to respond.
