This is all very well, -- and good for Nebraska!, -- but what has America come to that we have to write a provision into the law to give food and water to hospital patients?
It reflects we have been infiltrated like the camel through the tent, a little at a time almost unnoticed, until and unless exposed like Dr. Linda and the Harpies. Then the masks peel off.
That is why I do not wish to wind up in an emergency room or under their "mercy". Even a Groucho mask wouldn't help me. Good and wonderful help exists, but we have seen enough Dr. Linda's to be wary.
I wonder if the Founding Fathers ever envisioned a scenario where a convicted mass murderer had more rights, received better treatment and was afforded more dignity than a person in a hospital.
