A heated argument about the "morning-after" birth-control pill left co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck in tears on "The View" yesterday on ABC.
The 31-year-old was so distraught she had to be comforted by "View" den mother Barbara Walters, 74, who was seen holding Hasselbeck in her arms after the show returned from a commercial break.
Hasselbeck found herself outnumbered after she voiced her opposition to the controversial contraceptive, which is said to be capable of preventing pregnancy if taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex.
"These kinds of issues arouse the strongest emotions," said Walters, introducing the subject.

What's The View's market share with House Fraus?
"...but we're going to grind Hasselbeck into the ground regardless."
Laura Ingraham ran a bit of this this morning. Ms. Hasselbeck should be commended -- she stood her ground against Screaming Libs. Ironic that BabaWawa comforted her -- SHE was the one who skewered the dagger deep. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is STILL RIGHT, though.
"So you would say that a 12-year-old girl . . . who's been raped by her father or her uncle should proceed to term because that's 'a life'?" Behar shrieked...
I would like the results of a study showing the percentage of 12 year old girls raped by a family member vs. girls/ women who simply want to terminate a pregnancy.
"And Behar questioned her sharply. "So you would say that a 12-year-old girl . . . who's been raped by her father or her uncle should proceed to term because that's 'a life'?" Behar shrieked."...and then Behar opened her mouth and ate the co-host whole.
And I found it very interesting that Barbara Walters slapped her down pretty hard, Baba Wawa noted that an emotional response was inappropriate (this from a Leftist!) and that other opinions should also be heard (so shut up Elizabeth!!).
Elizabeth made a big show of apologizing (she thought she was going to be fired the way that Barbara fired Star Jones). Really, must see TV.
I'm afraid Ms. Hasselbeck's job is probably now in jeopardy.
You think its rough for her now, wait until Rosie gets there.
"It's (abortion) the same thing as birthing a baby and leaving it out in the street!" = EXTREME!
"So you would say that a 12-year-old girl . . . who's been raped by her father or her uncle should proceed to term because that's 'a life'?" = commonplace in the liberal realm. I would love to get a look at Joy Behar's family tree!
Hasselbeck should leave that show .. it's nothing bunch of liberal hags
The View
There is only one view allowed however.
I have no idea who she is, but according to the description under her pic on FOX link, she's pregnant.
"So you would say that a 12-year-old girl . . . who's been raped by her father or her uncle should proceed to term because that's 'a life'?" Behar shrieked.
"Of course, Elizabeth," replied B-chan. "Human life is human life. A person doesn't cease to be a person due to the circumstances of their conception. We have no right to judge which innocent person is worthy of life and which is not -- and shrieking like Adolf Hitler won't change that."
Behar had no reply.
...think the left will demand "fairness" amongst the View hosts on this issue?
"Behar shrieked"
Doesn't that just encompass how liberals discuss issues? Agree with me or I'll shriek louder!!!!!!!!!!!!
