The Shiite mullahs who rule Iran and have seized the leadership of the Islamofascist war against us are as dangerous an enemy as America has ever faced. Although we have chosen to be deaf to them, their war aims have never been secret. They have been shouting them out on the world stage to a billion listening Muslims, ever since they handed us the first of many humiliating defeats in 1979.

So many Americans are ready to sell the country out for a peace that will only serve to allow the Islamics to grow stronger. The time to stop them is now and we have to stop whining about civilian casualties. There are no civilians in this war. they wish to destroy us and the only way to survive is to do unto them first.
Losing? Islamocommies taken out in Kabul and Baghdad; Libya neutralized, at least for now, Israel about to take a huge chunk of pro-Hezbollah Lebanon, Castro incapacitated, possibly permanently. We're winning but our western "allies" need to wake up and help finish the job.
That is a more accurate assessment than defeatist talk.
The only wars lost are those fought to an everlasting ceasefire. See North Korea.
Absolutely correct. The twerps in the media never heard of London, Tokyo, Berlin, Hiroshima, Nagasaki. Civilians die in war. It is the nature of war. I don't advocate killing civilians, but whatever it takes to win a war against an agressor is an innate part of the process.
It looked bad at the beginning of WW II. But, the Americans finally got a good dose of fear/anger and turned things around, although it took six months to get the ball rolling after Pearl Harbor.

It is too bad that so many of them have become cowardly, weak, socialist states. During WW2 we had many allies that were VERY respectable, patriotic, and not afraid to fight tyranny and evil. What we have now is pathetic and disgusting, specifically in Europe.

We arent losing anything. We may not be fighting it as effectively as we could be, but we shall see what tomorrow brings.
The next 16 days should be very interesting to watch the positioning of the enemy.
WWII combatant casualty levels were 25,000,000. Civilian casualties pushed it to 50,000,000. Every nation on the planet was involved. Massive exchange and occupation of territories in Europe. The Cold War was a cold war, not WWIII.
I'm not sure I agree: England gave Hitler 1/2 of Czechoslovakia first, France ended up joining the Nazis, Sweden and Spain declared pro-Axis neutrality, and the Soviet invasion of Poland and the baltics was never addressed. Their war was lost until we finally beacme engaged and "the new world came to the rescue of the old."
The longer we wait to take on Syria and Iran, the more civilians will die (an argument to counter the deaf left), because sooner or later one of these "Allah tells me to kill all non-Muslims" wackjobs is going to get a nuke or several and will use them. Why wait?
I think "land for peace" works great. Give the islamofascists France and Germany.
Some are speculating that Iran is preparing a missile test on that date in response to the UN proposals.
