In a county with growing Democratic demographics and soaring crime rates, the incumbent Shelby County district attorney general and Shelby County sheriff, both white Republicans, faced a difficult dynamic in Thursday's general election.

The person that wrote the article tries to make the case that the Republicans were using Hillary's "It takes a village" line.

What he apparentltly does not understand is the difference between a parent and a sheriff. Hillary said it takes a village to raise a child. That is just not true. What the Republican Office holderes were saying is takes a village to enforce the laws. Which is exactly true.

Otherwise there would be no purpose in having villages in the first place. People come together to form a village to enact and enforce the rules in effect for the village.

Thus it takes a villege to enact a law that says robbery is illegal. It takes a village to enforce that law .... to indict and try those accused of robbery. It only takes a parent to teach a child not to steal.

Do Journalists have I.Q.s larger than their shoe size? Only those that have very small feet.
