Why aren't their pictures posted everywhere?

Eleven Egyptian students who were supposed to travel to a Montana university after flying to JFK airport late last month disappeared in New York, spurring federal authorities to issue a nationwide alert, officials said yesterday.
The students - who were traveling with six classmates from Mansoura University in Egypt - had their student visas revoked for failing to show up at Montana State University in Bozeman, the officials said.
The other six students made it to the college.
"The FBI and ICE [Immigration and Custom Enforcement] would like to locate these 11 students in order to speak with them," said FBI Special Agent Richard Kolko after the "be-on-the-lookout" alert was issued to all police in the United States.
Kolko said there is no reason to believe the missing students, all men around 20 years old, represent a threat.

Hey, maybe they decided to get a real on the street education of history and language versus sitting in a classroom setting! Is the FBI sure this wasn't a computer class?!
There's no excuse for this.Whoever issued these student visas should be fired yesterday.If the government is determined to continue handing out these visas to so called students from Middle Eastern Arab countries then they damn well should be held responsible for making sure these people at least get to the schools they're supposed to go to.Some of us in this country got a wake up call on 9\11.Apparently a lot of bureacrats in the government are still sleeping !!!

That would be meaningful, were it not for fact that the FBI is saying something quite the opposite. Unless you think a BOLO announcement to the public is something they do a lot of....

These students need their pictures posted in every post office in the USA as well as an alert in the news.
I'd say they ARE a threat, and We The People WILL find them.
Are you perhaps suggesting that we should have people following all foreign visitors to the US? Because that's the only way to get what you're asking for.

Once again we are asleep at the wheel. I guess we ARE that stupid.Why the hell would we still allow student visas from the middle East is beyond me . Guess we have to get hit again to learn .
The good news is that they at least checked to make sure they had enrolled in school. And found they hadn't.
Not so long ago the authorities would simply have assumed that they were students and no one would have followed up.

Only 11. That means they nead 8 Saudis to get to 9/11 strength. We need more student visas.
I feel a lot safer now.
Really, think about it. With this statement the FBI has alerted aware people to the danger without causing panic among the masses of people who don't get it.
