"Between lunacy and pandering, what option is left for Hillary Clinton in the '08 race? "

Pick a VP from a Red State. That is the only way she has a chance in hell of winning.

Okay, I have to agree with all the posts that refer to Gore and Kerry getting the nod..

It was pretty much a given when Gore got it, he was on Clinton's coattails.. but Kerry, ugh, a known traitor, billionaire, do nothing Senator.. when he pranced across that Boston stage at the Convention with the giant flag waving behind him on that Jumbotron.. I remember thinking...

If Kerry can get the nomination, anyone can... including Hillary..

It's the Primaries where Hillary may have the most trouble.. or not..

"It matters not what she does. They will vote for her as long as her opponent is a Republican."

If Condi is Guiliani's running mate, I see a lot of democrats voting the Republican ticket.

But maybe it's just my wishful thinking.

It is clear that their problem with Hillary is that she is trying to position herself far to the right of them. They would not care about the content of her character.

I must admit that I am falling for her magnificent job of positioning. I am thinking of possibly voting for her in preference to some arrogant, condescending RINO Senator who thinks he is so much smarter and more Presidential than just about anyone in the Bush administration. I am thinking of Chuck Hagel in particular.

Plus, Hillary has balls.

BTW, I don't mind Senate Republicans disagreeing with the President on issues. I just can't stand it when they strut around and pretend that they are somehow wiser than the guy who won the office and has beaten the Democrats every time they think they have him over a barrel. Bush may be wrong on immigration, and the occupation and rebuilding of Iraq may not have been run just right, but Bush has done so much right that these Senatorial sphincters never would have done.

"Barring another Ross Perot (McCain?) splitting the right, there is no way she could win."

There is no way we would be taken in by another Perot (is there??).

I believed the most dangerous Democrat candidate in '04 was John Edwards--that pretty boy with the southern accent was a true wolf in sheeps clothing. Happily, he got his Breck Girl arse kicked.

But I don't believe the headline: Democrats will crawl across broken glass to vote for Hitlery.

Hillary Clinton Commemorative Stamp

The US Postal Service has issued a recall of a stamp they created with a picture of Hillary Clinton to honor her achievements while serving as the First Lady of our nation.

The problem was discovered when claims had been made that the stamp was not sticking to envelopes, and that mail which had been sent using the "Hillary" postage was not being delivered. Senator Clinton demanded a full investigation into the allegations.

A special Postal Service Investigation team was formed and after several months and many dollars spent, made the following findings:

*The stamp was manufactured properly.
*There was nothing wrong with the adhesive.
*People were just spitting on the wrong side

Too late now. They should have opposed her sooner.

Why, she is the third horn [or the left rear hoof - the scholars still debate this point] of the Beast.

I'm much more worried about a guy like Evan Bayh as the Democrat nominee than Hillary.

Well I'm here to tell you that the neo-fascist, left-wing brown shirts will not nominate Evan Bayh.

For any breathing person paying attention this is what the Lieberman race is ALL about. It is for the soul of the Democratic Party. Personally, that is why I think that if Lieberman loses it will embolden the fascist kook squad and they will be even more wild-eyed in trying to flex their political left-wing muscle in '08 - and they will get annihilated.

To these very scary nut jobs, Hillary is not pure enough. She is a heretic. Evan Bayh? Ha! He will be made into Lucifer's son to these loony tunes. Seriously, these people are dangerous!

Lunacy has not yet worked for Al Gore. Serial pandering has likewise so far failed for John Kerry.

Lunacy damn near won and did get the popular vote
Pandering got the second highest vote total in history

Scary

You or I wouldn't, but I wasn't taken in the second time and it still worked.

...Well, now we know why the RATS want to add other primaries around the New Hampshire one.
.
.
.
I guess some one leaked something the DRats have known for a while. They are in a panic mode over New Hampshire so they 'need' a state where she will win, and big.
Need a bunch of dependent voters, not the centrist moderate educated DRats with access to the internet because even these DRats know Hildabeast is a POS.

Many Democrats see this as not being good that the moonbats are pulling the party too far to the left. What the MoveOn.org nutjobs don't understand is that only about 20% of the US population agrees fully with their brand of politics.

I hope Lieberman wins today and sends the MoveOn.org Moonbats to the woodshed!

Is that the silverware that they stole from the White House? Is this a photo of them in the process of stealing it?

The fact that the Dems don't like Hillary because she's not far enough to the Left is no comfort.
