I can't wait for the UN to comment on this...if it can even be brought to their attention.

The United States failure to act against Iran will be seen as weakness throughout the muslim world (both arab and persian).

The training appears to be quite inferior.

....starting with a couple hundred of these would be the opening course of action if it was mine to take.

It seems clear that our primary objective should be to make Syria and Iran pay a price in this conflict, but the question is how? And if we're not ready to bite the Iranian apple at this moment, can't we at least inflict some pain on Syria?
To: TheDon
I think the U.S. should infer that any flights going in and out of either Syria or Iran will be downed immediately. Indefinitely.

Formal declaration of war followed by full scale blockade of air and sea trade routes. Full support for insurgents within Iran.
To: RouxStir
I've written it many, many times before. Flatten Damascus and Tehran.

nice pic, i agree. i am a little bit skeptical about these at the depths iran has dug to though. Israel has these through us and has not used them yet.

If they take more time and prevent 5-7 dollar gas/ global economic turmoil, i can wait a few weeks - for Israel to decimate their proxy.

Doesn't solve the problem. Iran is going to trigger a war between muslim nations and the United States. It can not be avoided. We can fight it now before they convert petrodollars into high technology weapons or fight them later when nukes are falling on the United States from mis-eastern and South American sources. We might win that conflict and we might not. The only sure path to survival, it to fight now.
To: Ben Mugged
You are right.
Israel is key to eliminating this scourge however. If forced to fight on multiple fronts they have to choose survival over loyalty to the US. Depleting the muslims resources seems to be required as in any war.

DEMOCRATS don't care. Their mission is the total destruction of Israel just as the terrorists are. Democrats are America's internal terrorist organization.

Don't count on us not acting against Iran. Something is brewing. The Pentagon is very busy.
