Heed Haiku

I'm just a Kitten
With a white vest and Mittens
Anxious to fit in

People say I'm small
Though I am quite on the ball
As I watch the hall

I don't weigh that much
With my size, your heart I'll touch
Through playing and such

Kittens aren't subtle
Don't take well to Rebuttal
Who wants to Cuddle?!!!

Leap up on the chair
After three tries, it's not fair
All I grabbed was Air!

I am Persistent
Though things seem far and distant
Winning Ain't Instant!

But I can leap high
Easy's for the other guy
Which is why I try!

Curled up on the Bed
Lots of effort which has lead
To resting my head
