6 of 11 Egyptian students now in custody

Six of the 11 Egyptian exchange students who failed to show up for their college program are now in custody after three additional students were arrested Thursday, the FBI said.

El Sayed Ahmed Elsayed Ibrahim, 20, and Alaa Abd El Fattah Ali El Bahnasawi, 20, were arrested at a residence in Dundalk, Md., outside Baltimore, by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

Chicago police detained Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Abou El Ela, 22, at OHare International Airport as he was attempting to book a flight to Montana, the FBI said. Immigration agents later took El Ela into custody.

All are being held on administrative immigration violations because they did not report on time to their monthlong program at Montana State University in Bozeman, Mont.

None of the students is considered a terrorism risk

Great job! Thanks. They split up to attend to their 'assigned' tasks. '11' days on their own.

Considering the sieve the CIA has been and our failure to swiftly prosecute the traitors there, I don't blame the Brits.

These guys were "lost" for a week before they put out the notice to us. The "notice" was the message: grab them if they make a wrong move. We're playing THEIR game.

Dundalk? There's nothing there but
- A large GM plant
- Port facilities
- and the I-95 Harbor Tunnels

Right, for crying out loud it's at least FOUR miles from the Inner Harbor tourist section, what's the big deal?

Then again,Obrycki's is located at a mile or two LESS then the midpoint .
Hmmm

There is always Greyhound.
If he has a passport and a student visa... Besides it took the FBI awhile to release the list of names.

Chicago? Sears Tower?

I try to avoid Dundalk as much as possible, but as far as I know there is no significant Muslim (and even less Egyptians) population in that area. I'm very suspicious of why they went to Dundalk. These two men aren't related, so I'd doubt they both have relatives in Dundalk. I'm starting to believe with more certainty they are part of a sleeper cell.

I think we can bet our boots that this is all connected to the Brit takedown. Too much of a coincidence.

P.S. I love my boots a real lot!!

and a lot of Balti-morons
______

Hey now! some of us baltimorons are freepers, too. The Inner Harbor is only 15 minutes across Eastern Avenue from Dundalk. Pretty packed at lunch this time of year.

Maybe the Egyptians want to try the crabcakes at Phillips. I'd have suggested walking up to Lexington Market instead.

And even if they're terrorists, they're meatheads. If you don't show
up at college, that triggers an alarm.

Or they just found out how many hours (or days) will elapse before
the alarm is sounded.

This is invaluable information in figuring out the "time window" in
which a crucial courier-terrorist can freely move about the USA.

Also, if they have covert operatives in/near the FBI or other agencies,
they may now be able to gauge how many such "alarms" they have to
pull off simultaneously in order to saturate our defense/monitoring system.

Sounds like a test run of our security to see how much the Islamo-fascists can get away with.

Dundalk...
Well, that effectively elimates "tourism" as an alibi.

Wonder if some investigative reporter will have the smarts to do a
contour map of Muslim population in the USA.
And see how it fits with the location at which these guys are caught.
Or spent most of their roadtrip before being caught.

Yes I think it is. But the water tower with the GM logo still stands, just yards off of I-95.
