Are Democrats Set to Commit "Hairy Kerry" Again?
ChronWatch ^ | 11 August 2006 | John Lillpop

By abandoning Joe Lieberman because of his support for the war on terror, Democrats have decided that Kool Aid will be the party drink of choice in November.

Poison will be provided courtesy of Howard Dean and the Democratic National Committee. Mass graves are now being excavated, using only union labor of course, in anticipation of November election results.

Just a couple of months ago, liberals were basking in the glow of new public opinion polls showing Democrats gaining voter confidence in their ability to handle national defense and terrorism.

Imagine that: voters actually started trusting Democrats over Republicans when it comes to keeping America safe.

For the first time since George McGovern made Richard Nixon's reelection a lead-pipe cinch and Watergate the most unnecessary crime wave in U.S. political history, ''Democrat'' was synonymous with defense, rather than defeatist

But as everyone knows, with success comes responsibility and Democrats have never been known as particularly diligent about anything.

That is, with the exception of raising taxes and kicking God out of all public venues where two or more "sensitive" Muslims with Jihad on their minds might congregate

Thus, Lieberman's loss is a clear signal to the DNC elite: ''Defeatism is back!''

In other words, the party of abortions, assisted suicides, and murders' rights has decided that "Hairy-Kerry" is preferable to winning.

Once again, Democrats are set to make G.W. Bush look like a political genius and clever strategerist--a feat that G.W. could never accomplish on his own

Karma also hit them in the butt last night after they don't place Lieberman as the Democrat candidate, and then the next morning you get a terrorist plot that could be bigger than 9/11 avoided with among other things our use of the NSA phone taps...

In the Democrat party's face....
They will never acknowledge it, but this whole terrorist prevention the other day should help Republicans in November IMO.

Lieberman will win and then change parties back to Democrat in exchange for chairs on committees IMO.

As one who forcast gloom and doom before, I now simply cannot see the Dems taking control in November. Today's foiled terror plot only makes that a certainty.

There may be loud voices on the lefty side, not to mention the MSM. But the average person who isn't into politics the way we are often votes on gut reactions and the broadest of impressions. And while they may not like Bush, they get the sense that the dems are the party of wusses.

No follow up to 9/11 has happened while the Republicans have been in charge. As simplistic as this sounds, the average voter is going to look at his or her kids and think "Is changing the power structure a gamble I want to take just because I'm sick of the Republicans?"

True, there's always what is technically known as The Wacky Variable that needs to be considered...

The Democrat's new national campaign slogan following the ousting of Lieberman:

Better Dead with Ned

The Democrats are going to go Hard Left all the way to November. They already begun their defeatist surrender, cut and run campaign this morning in the wake of that terrorist plot. I couldn't be happier!

Boy, that statement says it all. They want to be thought of as tough on defense, but they don't want to actually do anything about it...

As if that isn't enough, the Greens in CT have apparently decided that Lamont isn't enough of a moonbat for them, and have decided to field their own candidate.

You know, I think the drive-by media believes they're doing the Democrats a favor by constantly featuring their kvetching on the evening news, but my guess is they just come off sounding shrill and bitchy to the average American.

I think more and more this supposed Democrat "surge" in '06 is just another wishful-thinking campaign by the media, once again propping up the dead donkey.

I don't know, this fellow looks a lot more serious about his politics than Lamont, so maybe he will get 2 points from Lamont voters.

My wild a**ed prediction is that this election is going to blow up in the RATS face. The GOP may come as close as its ever been to super majority in Congress. The RAT party, like communist Russia is dominated by about 3% commies. They won't mind a loss as much as we might think. Remember the commie slogan, 2 steps forward, one step back. Their main goal is to maintain control of the party, no matter what else.

Waiting for Hillary to say something "really, really" stupid like:

"we need more money to keep NYC and Martha's Vinyard safe"....instead of:

"we need the NSA to find these bas*****" by any means".

The NY Times should be very, very careful.
