Even during and after WW II, lots of soldiers were charged and some convicted of doing all kinds of things; including theft and rape

No, I think you need a dictionary because theft and rape does not mean "murder". Im talking about American troops in Iraq who hesitate now to defend themselves out of fear that our government will charge them with murder.

There's a big difference between collateral damage and rape, and to be frank I find your accusations about our troops to be quite offensive.

Oh, now it's "offensive" to state historical facts?

Even during peace time, sadly, some in our military have engaged in crimes, such as rape and murder. They HAVE been prosecuted for it and just because you don't know about such things, doesn't mean that that is not so.

Instead of posting from your feelings, go do some research and post with knowledge.

I take it you consider engaging the enemy which results in murder as a crime and our troops should be charged for murder. Well, that's where you and I disagree.

That isn't what I said. Nor is it what I think. Please, get a grip.

You're off topic. Im not even talking about rape and theft.

I may be slightly off the topic that YOU raised, but your "topic" was completely OFF the topic of this thread.
