curtious = courteous?

Heh heh! Sorry...I proofread my husband's thesis so much that I can't stop.

I like the article though...a lot. I noticed the people at the airports didn't have that bothered expression on their faces in the news reports, and even when the news got people to say it was an inconvenience, you could tell they had to edit out the "but" in their statements.

Bump!

Lamont and others may be ready to give up. But today in America their was a parade of optimistic, determined and united Americans flying across the sky saying “Screw You Al Qaeda!” loud and clear.

A great statement that defeats Al Qaeda, the party of Lamont and the MSM. Excellent find bobsunshine.

I'll tell you why the mood of the passengers is different than the mood of 9/11. After 9/11, an attack that succeeded, people were terrified it would happen again, 3000 people gone, snuffed for no good reason, that is terrifyig.

This time we foiled the plot. People are reassured that someone is looking out for them, not the dimwit party, and had succeeded in keeping them safe. Why fear flying when they have taken down the terrorists that might have blown you out of the sky?

This is why republicans will win in Nov, this is why the talking points fat Ted and the other rats are using about how foiling this plot shows failure are being ignored by most people. It is plain to the average citizen that this was NOT a failure and only someone with no brain what-so-ever would even consider it so.

Today I put my youngest child on a plane from Michigan to California to visit friends.. While he is plenty old enough it is actually the first time he has flown alone. I was ready to cancel this vacation because of yesterday but decided I would not let these terrorists ruin what is suppose to be a glorious reunion with old friends. My son will fly today and I will be terrified for him but I will get through it just fine.

I had the honor to travel with millions of fellow Americans today, a day after the 24 terrorists were arrested in the UK and a day that was supposed to be filled with mayhem at airports across the nation.

That's how I felt on Sept. 17, 2001 when I returned to work in lower Manhattan. I was proud to be there and be a part of showing our enemies what we were made of.

Pray that the American people have that same spirit and attitude when they turn out to vote. Liberal cowards and traitors will be soundly defeated. The GOP has plenty of ammunition, right out of the mouths of these appeasing cowards, to use in campaign ads.

It sounded like alot of people weren't bothered by the new restrictions. I heard on CNN yesterday a reporter said that many at Heathrow were taking the airport cancellations, airport delays and new luggage restrictions in stride.
