At DU, they are also accusing this as being a ploy, that there was no plot and that it was in part done to boost Lieberman's chances.

They are nuts over there.

The timing of these arrests were very suspicious, coming after the Lamont victory and all. Is there any real proof those arrested were really terrorists? Considering the timing, it is logical to assume Bush just picked up the phone and called Tony Blair to stage these arrests as a personal favor. Sometime after the election, the case will quietly be dropped due to lack of evidence. If it is mentioned at all, it will be buried on page A16 by the pro-Bush media.
