Unbelievable. 62% no. Then, how they explain this weeks thwarting? Or, the fact that there's been no attacks in Amerrica since 9-11??

If we were actually dealing with smart terrorists, we would have no defense against them.

Well let me give this a shot....
"The Bushbots are controlling the media, in fact there have been 100's of attacks by the Bushbots and 1000's of people have died in this country. Do not believe the media bias, Bush is covering up the attacks! Man he is just to stupid to be President and we should impeach him!"
I think that about sums it up for the typical liberal POS. Although I think I spelled every word right so sorry it didn't match the libs exactly but I think the point was made :)

Just shows how stupid the poll is. It's like people watching a man run a 4 minute mile then being polled and saying they don't beleive the 4 minute mile can be broken. Just retarded.
The poll question might as well have been, "Do you support President Bush"? That's the question answers were given to.

I wouldn't have confidence if the RATs were in power. According to these poll results, these blue state crybabies support the politicians who if in office, would probably gut or severly modify those programs (NSA wiretaps, Patriot Act et.al.)that have kept us safe the last five years. The majority "nos" on this poll would support the reinstitution of Jamie Gorelicks famous great wall. In essence, the leftist mutants live in a parallel existence, were up is down, right is wrong, and safe is unsafe. Abstractions can be a dangerous thing, especially for shallow leftist twits.

Kind of a silly poll.
They just did stop a terror attack.
Can they stop all attacks? No. It's a big planet.

Yes 42%

Even more-so to those morons.
I still don't understand the poll, though. Why even do it? That's like having a poll on June 21, 1969 asking if people believe we could put a man on the moon. DUH, we just did it.

Just because there have been no attacks since 9/11 doesn't mean that there won't be.
I feel very confident that we will be hit again. It's going to be a long war and there are just too many crazies out there.
I think the government will do a pretty good job in stopping a lot of attacks, but I think it's naive to think we'll be able to stop all of them.

Just because there have been no attacks since 9/11 doesn't mean that there won't be.Don't believe I said it would never happen again. Besides, that's a whole different question to be polled. However, if people are to be honest and answer THIS poll, they have to vote YES simply because there haven't been any attacks on American soil since 9/11.
That's simply fact.

Not really. The poll question is quite ambiguous.
