Hamadi information minister, a Druze, said Sunday night that Nasrallah had broken his word to order Hizballah fighters south of the Litani to hand in their weapons to allow Lebanese army troops to be deployed there.
DEBKAfile reports: Amid heavy fighting across the entire Lebanese front, Israeli field commanders await directives for Monday 0800 hours when the ceasefire deadline goes into force.
Lebanon front commander Maj-Gen Benny Gantz said Sunday night the IDF will honor the ceasefire but also defend its troops and Israeli civilians.
DEBKAfile asks: Have they been told to hold their fire in line with Israels acceptance of the UN resolution 1701 now that the Lebanese government and Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah have backtracked?
DEBKAfile has learned that Tehran has meanwhile ordered Nasrallah to keep Israel engaged in combat for another 3 to 4. As a result of which he suddenly backed away from his pledges to France and the Siniora government Saturday to accept a ceasefire and a UNIFIL force in south Lebanon.
Nasrallah said he would wait a month to see how Israels retreat from the disputed Shabaa Farms was progressing.

Ah, yes, more UNEXPECTED news!!!
We were just talking about you.
CNN is now reporting the same thing.
Well, even a blind pig roots up the occasional acorn.

(Go Israel, Go! Slap 'Em Down Hezbullies.)
What a shock, if true of course. The terrorists don't do cease fires, as the UN knows.
Retreat from the Shabaa Farms??? That is not in the cease fire/Israeli surrender document. If Olmert gives that up he might not have to wait for a vote of no confidence. The military might remove him first.
"I think it has to do with August 22nd."
I think we've already got our answer on Aug 22 (Iran nuke decision). It was the message that was supposed to be delivered in those 10 jets over the Atlantic. That was supposed to be their answer.
Watch.
CEASE FIRE FLOP

Realizing that they would become obsolete overnight, Hezbollah has refused to disarm, Saniora isn't sending troops, the ceasefire that was supposed to go into effect at 0500GMT isn't,
...and Israel has 15,000 troops, a UN mandate and a clear view of the Bekaa Valley.
Watch for more bang, boom and squealing. Rock On IDF! Tell Olmert to stuff it!
Only error is posting Debka here. Not a reliable source.
Bolton flummoxes the UN.
A weak resolution with gaps big enough to drive a tank through.
Hizb'Allah wasn't a party to the agreement. Israel agreed only to suspend 'offensive' actions.
Everything back to ground zero until the UN can get its act together.
A ceasefire? With Terrorists?
Who are we kidding?

I personally think Debka is right more than they are wrong. It's just that a majority of their reports are not the kind, that you ever get positive confirmation or a complete debunking of.
Israel should only abide by it long enough for the world to see that they tried.
Israel should not unilaterally switch to defense as long as Hisbullah continues to fire at them.
Nuke 'em. Let God sort it out.
Its DEBKA, but if true it will be met by yawns of (not)dis-belief.
