We tend to make up our own minds around here, and don't just accept anyone's "theology". I can tell you I'll never accept any islamonazi "theology", though.

Oh, OK:
"Send a bill to the IDF ... being that they (lebanese Marionites) are Christians they MIGHT just pay it.
That it?

"I'd to see you, as a civilian, try to take on a well armed militia that has just kicked the IDF in the teeth. It's really easy to criticize."
Especially from 8,000 miles away.

The Lebanese Christian has much to fear. The same Hezbollah that fights the Israelis, will soon turn their psychotic blood lust towards the Christians. Then, because they made up their mind to hate the Israelis, they will be in the corner the Arab world wants them to be. They will not face the reality that Iran wants Lebanon pure and simple. Then it will be too late. They may cry about dog poop in their homes now but soon the Christians will be so many heads bouncing through the streets.

My thoughts exactly. Lebanon would not likely have gone through the civil war and terrorist semi-takeover if we had not lost Iran. Jimmy didn't try to help the Shah. I suppose he was worried about his human rights record, which looks good compared to the current thugs in charge.

If my nation wouldn't defend me and I couldn't defend myself, I'd have gotten the hell out of there. What was he doing for all these years while Hezbollah was turning his town into a military base?

Gibran's biographers, Bushrui and Jenkins, sas that "although Gibran was a Maronite Christian, his writings through the years reflect his desire to merge the Sufi Muslim tradition with the Christian mystical heritage of his background.''
Whatever that means...

From what I read that he wrote. I wouldn't call him a Christian.

My criticism is perfectly legitimate. The non-Hezbollah Lebanese who watched and did nothing for years and years and years while Hezbollah built up their arms and forces and entrenched themselves are not innocent in this matter.

They are Christians that have allowed the Hezbollah to operate from their midst. I didn't say it was their fault, but the fact remains that they are with Hezbollah in proximity, and that, unfortunately, is what led to the trouble.

It means that his writings are occultic, with Christian and Islamic overtones. The Sufi are to Islam what Kaballah is to Judaism.

A big part of the problem is Michel Aoun's 'memorandum of understanding' with Hezbollah.
Reads like a Neo-Con presentation to congress on what should be done in Iraq. Could have been written by Woodrow Wilson, Jimmy Carter, or read by George Bush in his earliest statements about why democracy could spread in the Middle -- East. Long live the Lebanese Christians.

I sure did not see any dogs with Israeli troops and consider that part suspect.
I have been wondering to what extent Hez might be outsiders or what w call illegal aliens.
To: okiedog
Oh, please. This whole article is one of a number of anti Israeli hit pieces. The "christians" that whine in these articles are tools of the hezzbos.
