This isn't just about Iran. Many, if not most, Muslim countries practice "honor killing." The family will kill their female relative (or male- I've seen statistics from Pakistan) and the govt will either do nothing, or give just a minor punishment. It's about sharia in this case specifically (and Islam). Iran is just a Islamic theocracy. That's a problem I have with these articles - it isn't "strict" sharia. It's sharia that's the problem.
Unfortunately, the creatures that do this are exclusively human. Nowhere in nature do any other creatures take pleasure in torturing others to death. Even when we see a cat appear to be playing with a mouse, it's not trying to torture it, but trying to learn to be a more efficient predator. There's no malice in the actions.
Only humans take pleasure in inflicting pain while subjagating another.
I agree that those who do this sort of stuff have no right to be among "civilized" human beings. And the fact that they want to bring us BACK into their world is reason to believe that we need to be preparing for a major conflict.

It means that a woman can be stoned to death for "adultery" at the whim of any man who choses to get rid of her.
There doesn't have to be proof - or even necessarily accusation of sex.
Just say "adultery" and the plans for stoning will commence.
