Small calamari, about 2 inches long, battered and fried and dipped in marianra sauce are tasty. Try some at a decent Italian family restaraunt. If you enjoy seafood you'll like it- I promise.

I love it. Anyway it comes...I'll eat the squid. mmmm...
I especially enjoy grossing out my older brother by leaving a tentacle with suction cup on it hanging out of my mouth!

Best Calamari ever... Henry's End Restaraunt - under the brooklyn bridge.

I've been reading a lot about fisherman catching very large squid off the coast of CA.

I do like seafood. I just can't imagine eating anything with little suction cups on it. I guess I'll have to give it a try some day. It helps to know how it's supposed to be cooked, thanks.

My husband is realy funny about squid.......he has this thing about eating bait.......My attitude is that if we don't catch anything, we can always fry up the leftover bait for dinner.

Then you don't want to try scungilli....whole baby octopus.

Properly cooked calamari does NOT have suction cups on it.

"SANTA BARBARA (AP) - A tentacle and two arms of a giant squid about 20 feet long were snagged by a sport fisherman off Santa Cruz Island. "

Has PETA come out with a statement condemning the fisherman and George Bush?

I'm with you on that!Lived very near the port of Olympia WA.Some of the 'things' pulled out of the water was some nasty looking stuff. The water was nasty by itself, let alone, eating what grew in it.I recall seeing my first gooey duck[sp].Sea food being a main fare in the local restaurants,I looked at the price and it was $17.00 for a serving of it!All I could think of,it reminded me of a large garden slug.I am allergic to sea food,so I am safe.Wife likes a lot of the 'strange food'.Frog legs.alligator tail, and other french type foods.I did try some prawns once, and became very ill.Twenty four hours of extreme sickness came upon me.I never knew the human body could do certain multiple functions at the same time!
