JERUSALEM - Israeli troops on Monday in southern Lebanon shot two Hezbollah guerrillas during a clash in southern Lebanon, the army said. The army said the soldiers opened fire after guerrillas approached the force in a "threatening manner." It identified hitting two of the three militants in the group.
The clash underscored the fragility of a week-old truce that ended 34 days of fighting. Israel is keeping troops in southern Lebanon until Lebanese troops and U.N. peacekeepers take up positions.
If this is true... Good for them! Do it again!
Great, now we're going to have PETA involved?

Lesson learned by the Hezbollah: Don't give the IDF the finger.
It dosnt pay to get an attitude with IDF troops in Lebanon.
They will clean your clock for you.

Reuters cut at it..
Israeli soldiers shoot three Hizbollah gunmen: army
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli troops shot and wounded three Hizbollah guerrillas in southern Lebanon on Monday, an Israeli army spokesman said, as the army maintained positions in the territory ahead of a planned pullout.
"A force identified armed gunmen coming toward them in a threatening way," the spokesman said. "The soldiers fired at them and identified three hits."
It was unclear whether the guerrillas were killed.
Fist time I've seen a floppy helmet cover on a US troop (Marine) ala the IDF. A great idea IMHO.
I'd rather french kiss a rattlesnake than to tick off the I.D.F.
Its not a floppy helmet cover but a cover for his desert goggles.
Only TWO? Shirley :) they can do better than that!
Look again. I think the cover is for his desert goggles and not for the entire helmet.
Don't worry about that smashed house, sir. President Bush went on TV this morning and promised to put it back just the way it was.
It's a kevlar pot. That's his goggles cover.
Two more dead terrorists. Always good news.
Why did the AP "journalist" use quotations around "threatening manner"? All he did was highlight his bias, which isn't nessesary. The AP tag does that.
They aren't Hezbollah Gorilla's either, they are terrorists, plain and simple.
