Ask Poland or even England about the German war machine in 39. Plus I still think Iran will blow themselves up if they get too close to a nuke. They are about bluster and they probably couldn't conquer an African country. They may kill a few people now and then, but so have other retarded dictators and religious cult monsters that have decided killing children is important for their faith.
The only reason Germany rolled over Sudatenland so quickly is that England threw them to the wolves. Poland put up a much better fight than history gives them credit for.

Never underestimate the power of a religious whack-job. Especially if that whack-job has the resources of a modern nation-state at his disposal. Iran may not have much industry, but they've got enough to run a fairly sophisticated nuclear enrichment program, several factories making fairly advanced anti-armor shaped charge weapons, and billions of petro-dollars to purchase whatever they want on the open arms market.

I don't know...but I can see Israel launching a first strike, just to be sure. I for the life of me don't understand the hesitation of getting it on with Iran...wtf are we waiting for? I read over and over on FR that if we wanted to we could toast all of these countries...but we'll never do it, will we? The mullahs are right, Americans don't have the stomach for war. The Germans introduced the 'Blitzkrieg' type of attack. It shocked the Polish and later shocked the rest of Europe. The German Blitzkrieg moved so fast that the civilians were not able to get out of harms way. Roads toward the front were full of refuges. Many Polish civilians died.
What a punch line. So how many tests has Pakistan done ? I thought the first one was right after India tested. That would mean the first one was not an Iranian, unless there was co-development. They do share a common border. Will India be hit the same time Israel is ? Rather strange that both areas are heating up simultaneously.

On this point, my understanding was that the Germans could have easily controlled much of Europe for many decades based on their military power if not for four key factors:
Hitler's focus on exterminating Jews caused key scientists to leave the country. These scientists could have enabled them to put nukes on V2's.
Hitler's personality and methods also alienated many in their powerful military. There never was a complete consensus.
They spent too much of their resources going into Russia in the winter.
Patton kicked their butts in Africa and Italy.
The thought occurrs to me that the Iranians are being used. Russia and China want Iran to attack Israel, draw us deeper into the abyss known as the Middle East, and hopefully get us set off into a nuclear exchange with Iran, or Syria, or both.
No wonder Putin gets hysterical over our anti-missile defense systems. If we can bring down any missiles before they can fry any of our cities, we will be able to turn much of Iran and Syria into glass covered parking lots.

There will be no “hot war” in the usual sense of the phrase. They do not have the resources, support, or technology to last more than a few months. If that.
Iraq fought a six year war with Iran with them trading back and forth the same 5 mile stretch of territory. We took less that 2 months to take out the entire Iraqi army.
Yes they might try extended terrorist tactics, but even that can be nullified if the country being attacked has the will and the stomach to do what is necessary.
They can not fight any sort of extended war against a modern army because the do not have the industrial base or logistics resources.
