Pinellas County's Republican Party held a straw poll for the Sept. 5 primary at their Victory 2006 picnic Sunday. Looks like the local GOP, at least, is with Katherine Harris. Here are the results:

House District 48: Peter Nehr, 93; Ken Peluso, 54; Brian Flaherty, 45; Robin Borland, 14

PINELLAS COUNTY = RINOVILLE. No one can believe a word the Pinellas GOP says.
Did they call the 59,000 voters who chose Jan Govan instead of J. Greer? Those are 59,000 votes for Tom Gallagher.
Beware of people running for office or what they are pedding from PINELLAS COUNTY.
If you've been paying attention, this is worse than former Mayor Daley's machine in Chicago.

Judge Greer was at the Victory Picnic in 2004 and that violated ANOTHER judicial canon. He was not supposed to be there at all. It's a sham event.
All the other judges who arrived when they realized the Victory Picnic was a fundraiser they said "I'm outta here" and didn't even cross the threshold to enter.
Judge Greer doesn't abide by Judicial Canons and somebody saw him inside AT A FUNDRAISER.
The Victory Picnics are for the Pinellas Good Old Boys. The Pinellas GOP is an anomaly and they get away with all kinds of questionable activities.

County GOP's have executive committees. That's usually three people who do the endorsing. They don't speak for their constituents. They speak for three people, themselves. They are LIBERALS.

There's nothing wrong with polling legitimate polls from legitimate pollsters. It's a waste of bandwidth to be posting goofy polls from handfuls of people at a picnic, fundraiser or beer blast.

Not only is he a flaming liberal, he's also blatantly dishonest.
As to the polls you've got to be kidding! The straw poll you saw fit to lead this thread with was orchestrated by a firm loaded with Crist. It's totally bogus.
The other polls were conducted before the debate in which Mr. Sniffles blatantly patronized voters in a way that sickened the base and caused others to realize that the man has no honesty or intergrity. The best thing he had going for him was "electability," but as soon as he started airing commercials Davis caught up to him in a 2 way hypothetical (let's hope both those pukes lose their nomination). The base is now thoroughly sickened by Crist and all major media analysts are in their words - "expecting a tightening" of the race. Republicans are the ones vote in the primary and that doesn't bode well for Crist. After looking at the issues it's clear that Charlie Crist is no Republican.

Lol - First you find a straw poll that's completely bogus, conducted by Crist donors. Now you quote a poll from Aug. 12. Well ya, on Aug. 12 most were leaning toward Crist because few were paying attention to where the candidates stood on the issues. Now that Crist has come out so clear in favor of gay adoption, "civil" "unions" and insane spending promises people know who to vote for.
His own ads, especially the latest hack piece, scream desperation.

Charlie Crist would do all he could to prevent a law outlawing abortion. Tom Gallagher would do all he could to support it.
Gallagher's been consistant since 1998. Crist changes from day to day.
Electable? When no one knew Charlie and assumed he's a stand up guy he was the most electable. The moment he started airing commercials Davis caught up. People see through what he is. Gallagher, on the other hand, is coming from behind because of his trustworthiness and is ahead of Davis in a match up.
We've been through this and again, like I told you last time. I actually watched it. You obviously didn't. No problem, you can catch it again on Sun. Instead you quoted some lazily written article that made passing mention that both men opposed gay adoption. One which contained numerous other fallicies, one of which I pointed out to you.
FYI Crist said nothing with regard to gay adoption during the debate! He said he's for civil unions, but thinks that MARRIAGE should be between a man and a woman. Again, nothing about adoption.
On a recent radio interview Charlie said he has no problem with gay adoption. "I'm fine with that." Google it if you want to.
After that DHH became the best football team in the area.
