The president spoke with UN SG Kofi Annan about the international force being assembled for Lebanon; the Iranian regime's statement on its nuclear program; and the need to improve the situation in Darfur. He attended a fundraiser for Senator George Allen, R-VA.

President Bush met with Rockey Vaccarella, Louisiana victim of Hurricane Katrina, to discuss rebuilding efforts there.

Israel supposedly went to war to get their two soldiers back. Then surrendered in return for Hezbollah not firing anymore rockets. Israel left their two soliders to be abused in Hezbollah's hands.

What would you call a people who would do that?

Condi is not going wobbly. If she were, she would be replaced.

Some of the commentators and certainly some of the people who post on some of the news threads have hidden agendas. Don't let people get you all upset. Try to remain calm and look at all that;s happening. Kofi Annan is irrelevant.

I watched the Talk Show Magazine convention on C-Span this morning.

One thing really stuck out. One of the speakers, a consultant, made the point that few people care about the war in Iraq. And urged talk show hosts to go on to other topics. He said, "Where to take your kids this weekend." would draw a bigger audience. He also said that what station managers want him to do most is find good talk show hosts.

In Cincinnati, Ohio, liberal talk show host Jerry Springer (a Cincinnati native and former mayor) was replaced by a sports show on 50,000 watt station, WCKY. Springer is now heard on a less dominant regional station, WSAI. WSAI is just 1,000 watts. Err America is just not doing well.

Springer told the Talk Radio Convention that liberal radio was going to take off any year now. He also lead the audience to believe he was not getting paid. He said, "I love Talk Radio.. I have to love it.. I am not making a penny at it."

Hezbollah has the two Jewish soldiers. They showed a picture fo them a few days ago. They appear to be alive and well. That is about it.
