GAY EXEC SLAIN; EX-GIULIANI AIDE (organized Hispanic support for Rudy's immigration policies)
NY POST ^ | August 24, 2006 | MURRAY WEISS and MATHEW CHARLES

Posted on 08/24/2006 1:30:44 AM PDT by Liz

....a prominent gay public-relations executive days was found dead.... strangled in his own bed. Martin Barreto, 49, a former aide to then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani, was discovered naked with KY Jelly and a condom next to his body..........worked in Giuliani's press office 1994 through 1995....helped organize Hispanic support for the mayor's immigration policies......

Barreto, a distant relative of former Nicaraguan President Violeta Barros de Chamorro, lived with a cousin in the high-security building, but was alone Saturday night when he invited a stranger up. The man stayed briefly, and two hours later another visitor arrived, staying only 10 to 15 minutes.

Officials are looking into whether his crushed larynx was the result of rough sex gone horribly wrong. Barreto had used escort services in the past, a source said.

The former journalist graduated from liberal-elite Brown University.....a close friend of jetsetter Bianca Jagger and knew John Kennedy Jr. from their days together at Brown, recalled his partner at Barreto & Brightwell Associates. He had lodged four harassment complaints against a former boyfriend, but police don't suspect that man.

Sorry my friend, but cut and paste is trollery, not rational argument.

I hate to have to continue to repeat myself, but you won't listen. You continually to post the same crap about Rudy Giuliani, so turnabout is fair play.

"Neither have you a "clue" about how anyone will or will not vote, in any race."

Really? I seem to remember how the religious right signed over 4 million new voters for the GOP in 2004. You think those same people will vote for a pro-abortion candidate like Giuliani? LOL!

I've told you before -- conservatives in blue states have to say things to get elected that they would not say if running in red states.

If Giuliani promises to appoint judges in the mold of Alito and Roberts, we'll hold him to it. What's the problem?

If Giuliani comes out and promises to appoint 100% pro-choice judges, or something absurd like national gun registration, I'll be first in line to oppose him. But since he has been out of office, he has given no indication that he would do so.

I'm interested in results, not authenticity. Keep in mind that Ronald Reagan, born in 1911, was a card-carrying *Democrat* until the 1960s. Giuliani wasn't even that-- he was just a conservative that moderated a few positions to win in a blue state.

For a guy who has absolutely, positively no chance to win, there sure are some folks acting awfully scared around here.

Panic IS the word that springs to mind.

If he's running against Hillary? Yes, I do. And if they don't, then they go back into the moron group, who cut off their noses to spite their collective faces and voted for Perot or stayed home, in '92.

I didn't vote for Perot in either election. Those were not conservatives, those were the people who support Giuliani or McCain now. Those are the people who have no moral compass.

He isn't "my candidate"; little Miss Closet Queen of FR.

Actually, I haven't a "candidate" I favor for the GOP presidential candidate of '08.

But what I will not stand, is for you and your ilk to post lies, libel, and innuendos about anyone.

I'd tell you to go buy a clue, but I doubt you can afford to.

At least he was surrounded by close friends at the time.

Just a reminder: Free Republic is a conservative site
Posted on 04/11/2006 by Jim Robinson

We fight for conservative principles, values and causes. We defend the Constitution. We defend our borders. We defend our God-given rights. We are opposed to the liberal/socialist/Marxist agenda for America. We do not willingly give up ground to the Marxists.

We fight on. We hold the majority. We continue working as hard as we possibly can to elect as many conservatives as we possibly can. We build a conservative majority that can overcome the Democrats and the RINOs.

We do not willingly give up any seats to Democrats. We add seats. Preferably, conservative seats. I would also like to remind everyone, that Free Republic does not condone racism and does not advocate violence. We exercise our first amendment rights to free speech and peaceable assembly.

We do not condemn people because of their race, religion, ethnicity, skin color, etc. We do not advocate civil war, anarchy, or an overthrow of the government.

And, yes, we are at war. And we do support our troops and their mission. We also respect our commander-in-chief and are mindful that when people disrespect him, it hurts troop morale.

We do not appreciate the mainstream media's attempts to destroy America's will to fight and we do not do anything to assist the Democrats and their accomplices in the media in their treasonous mission of undermining the war effort by providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

I'll list a few issues (by no means and exhaustive list) that will be adversely affected by Marxist/Democrats in power:

The Supreme Court

The federal judiciary

The legislative agenda

The right to life Marriage between one man, one woman

The family

Education

Health care

Private property

Taxation Oil/energy The right to keep and bear arms

The right to freedom of religion

The right to self-governance

All of our God-given rights

The Constitution

The Republic

Liberty itself

Do not get so discouraged that we give it all up. It could take generations to get it back. If ever.

"Securing the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity" is our duty.
