Anything else you want to whine about today? Nope--enjoy your subsidized retirement and all your gimmees! :)
Fortunately, there is a younger, yet more adult, generation here to clean up after you....

Translation from metaphysical nonsense boomerese: You are translating reality into something that will allow you to enter the Competitive Suffering Olympics.
Whatever makes you feel whole, I suppose.

Nope--enjoy your subsidized retirement and all your gimmees! :) It's delicious hearing such childlike voices as yours. You'll be no competition in the marketplace.

It's delicious hearing such childlike voices as yours. Yeah, kids suck.... That's why you don't have any--too whiney and you can't buy more stuff and take vacations to Napa Valley, Sedona and Santa Fe...
Which is, of course, why there are less of us to provide for the entitled elderly.
The greatestest insult to a baby-boomer: "You're old."

With their thirst for "stuff" - bigger houses, better cars, tastier grub - did they give rise to a culture of selfish consumption?Yes. But they just fanned the flames started by the post-WWII crowd.
And by challenging old-fashioned moralism, did they inadvertently nurture a climate of promiscuity - even fuelling the spread of STDs?
Yes. And the rise in HIV, abortions being as easy to obtain as blowing your nose, easy divorces, FemiGnatzie-ism, utter disregard for the Traditional Family and the promotion of sexual deviancies now accepted as "normal" and subsidized by our tax dollars.
I was born in 1960 and I have always lived my life very differntly from other Boomers my age. It makes me CRINGE to be lumped in with this group because while we did so many positive things, I think the negative impact we've had on society has been a disastrous trade-off. And to be lumped in with Clinton is the frosting on the cake. Gag.

No, the greatest insult to this retired at fifty boomer would be if someone were to describe any of my kids as a typically whining Xer.

No, the greatest insult to this retired at fifty boomer I imagine that retirement is largely a government funded pension--state, city or federal?
How did I know?
Y'know, you could at least thank us....

As long as you are focused on the lollipop you didn't get from mommy government, you are wasting time.
If you were a boomer, I'd say you were like a rapist telling the victim to lie back and enjoy it. I don't find the line of argument the least helpful or persuasive.
You don't deny that the next generation is being treated inequitably. And when one complains of real inequity (thievery) that is hardly whining. But the boomers throw that around to assuage their guilt.

You don't deny that the next generation is being treated inequitably.Because it is a fact they are. As will the next generation. And the next after that until it all falls down or American society agrees to a benign dictator to make the changes that will be required.
As long as you have we Boomers to blame, you can feel victimized and divert the energy it will take to fix the "system". I feel really sorry for y'all and my kids, grandkids and, Lord willing, their progeny.
Our "Republic" cannot sustain itself. That's the real bottom line. The people you would hang for being responsible for that will long be dead before you get your chance at justice. I surely don't feel guilty, however. I merely cast my vote on election day. Your "representatives" took it from there.
Any solutions come to mind, eh?

Wrong skippy, no pension involved at all, just working smart and making my money work for me. How are you doing? I suggest Real Estate, if you've got the nerve.

I see. Complaining about injustice is wrong, because it does not correct the injustice.
And I'm not blaming you for taking the unjust booty government has stolen from us workers. Grab what you can. After all, the boomers are the ones who made this an amoral society. Congratulations.
But don't get huffy when someone points out the injustice of your fists being full of our earnings.

You sound just like a 60's style communist rabble-rouser. My fists are full of MY earnings, not yours.

Hey BB you whiny little kid...for fifteen years straight I paid off FICA by end Q1. No way I'm going to need whatever pennies you pay in. But, when the checks come I will use them...maybe for tango lessons.

The boomers are getting a bit touchy about this one.
You know that the money you are getting comes from earners who will never have any hope of receiving the same benefit.
A guilty conscience must be bad for the mood. Especially, when you know that "I'm old! Gimme, gimme gimme!" isn't a very conservative approach.

You need to look in the mirror to see the guy with the "touchy" problem. Blaming me and my generation isn't going to resolve your generations shortcomings.

Wrong skippy, no pension involved at all, just working smart and making my money work for me. How are you doing? Shitty, thanks to the no-fault divorce laws the 60's ushered in:
My mother left in the 70's to 'find herself' and took half my dad's assets and then my ex took half of mine....
I'll be dying at my desk if I can pry a management job from the dead fingers of a 60-something....
Real estate is now a bust--the boomer locusts are done 'flipping' and have moved on.
And don't call me f'in 'skippy' you patronizing ass: I'm almost 40 and have 16 years in the Army Guard along with an engineering degree and a job working for the Air Force!
