Tampa Bay, Florida - Take a look at this police video. Watch as police pull over a man for speeding and a loud stereo. You'll see as the man gets belligerent - it seems he thinks that noise laws should not apply to what he is listening to.
During this stop, the man that was pulled over for speeding explains to the officer, that wasn't listening to rap, and he wasn't listening to rock and roll. He opines that since he was listening to Bill O'Reilly, that it was ok to have it at top decibel. The officer explains differently.
Let's presume, hypothetically, the driver's position is correct. The cop is an animal who will go straight to hell because he misinterpreted an ordinance meant to combat rap and rock to include spoken voice? What an idiot.
And, of course, calling the officer "liar", "donut eater", etc is just the thing to convince him to give you a break....\
What a moron! I can't believe the cop never even raised his voice.
Who the hell could listen to O'Reilly at full blast????
He's unwatchable on TV anymore, and his radio show is by far the worst I've ever tried to listen to this side of NPR.
Man, was that dude begging for it. Amazing self-restraint on the cops part.
Yeah, and the cop never did find the little packet of meth in the glove box.
This video is a great example of how NOT to behave when you're pulled over. You should be polite and courteous to the officer and admit nothing.
I wonder if he notated on the ticket, "Most ridiculous item of the day"?
(Warning, strong language)
Kudos to the officer for his cool, professional handling of a complete jerk.
Yep, he failed to observe on of Chris's cardinal rules: STFU.
I haven't heard him for awhile, but on radio, he sounded like a teenager. All "Ummm.., ahh ..., like ..., y'know ...". He couldn't form a sentence without his TV teleprompter.
NPR (ATC) actually has some neat stuff from time to time. But it shouldn't exist.
Period....I hear you there.
I'm not a fan of BOR, but with those big tires and an open cab, I'll bet there is a ton of road noise in that Jeep.
Jeeze, I thought the only person who could stand to listen to O'Reilly was O'Reilly.
There's also a video of a couple of MSNBC bimbos showing this clip and ridiculing O'Reilley. I wonder why PMSNBC has such a fixation on Bill.
Note to self: Fix computer so you can hear these things!
