Monday, Aug 28 Couric Gets Bush For 1st 'Evening News' Katie Couric has landed an interview with President George W. Bush at the White House for the CBS primetime special "Five Years Later -- How Safe Are We?"
The special will air from 10 to 11pm on Sept. 6. Excerpts from the interview will air on Couric's first evening newscast on Sept. 5 (and on the Early Show the next morning)...

I wouldn't care if Couric was interviewing Elvis;
I won't be watching.
Why would the President waste his time talking to that nitwit commie? All she's good for is celebrity gossip, recipes, and having a camera shoved up her *ss on live TV.
I'll watch, but only if she's as perky as she was with the first President Bush.

This may be very good. If she gets in the president's face, she will not have a high-ranking official for over two years. I believe she will go easy on him. That will make the leftist whackjob base go crazy. As a Hillary supporter, Katie will be even more loathed. This could end up damaging the witch.

Yes, it will be a nice little hit piece. Exerpts interlaced with "buts" and "howevers" and "polls show."
Oh geez, he's walking into an interview with an interviewer who openly hates him and his administration. And Couric thinks she's walkin' on water these days. He better be well-prepared. She's going to take any opportunity she can to make him look __________ (stupid, bad, ill-informed, unknowledgable, racist-leaning, evil, down-home-howdy-pardner-shoot-'em-up-moron, unsympathetic - well, you fill in the blank). That woman is not formidable, but knows how to make an interviewee look like a dope if they let down their guard. I hope he and his advisors know what they are doing in scheduling this interview.
If Bush would only learn how to fight back this could be real good. But, he wont. He needs to learn how to tear apart these liberal a$$holes and their loaded questions. I wish he'd take the gloves off, just once .
