He needs to beef up his Presidential persona, by, for example, learning what to do with his legs when he is addressing a group. I think it would be more important for Frist to learn how to control his RINO impulses when addressing the base.

Unfortunately, Frist has distinguished himself in the Senate as a wallflower. Ain't happening.

Is he a ruthless SOB?
If not, he does not qualify for 08.

He's a wimp who couldn't keep his own GOP in line. Please; let him retire.
To: Eric in the Ozarks
A miserable failure in the Senate. No thanks!!!

Being in the Senate qualifies him to delusions of presidential qualities..along with 70 or so others.

I would vote for him over any of the three choices in the current FR poll (Guliani, McCain, Romney), but that is as far as my support would likely go. I really hope we can do better than these in 2008. It would be a shame to alienate 20+% of the base and lose to a Dim.

He is, of course, a very impressive guy: a physician, a heart and lung transplant surgeon, an upstart politician He may be a great doctor, but I honestly can't say that I've ever been impressed with anything he's done in the political arena.
I guess Old Hickory was the last politician from Tennessee that was worth anything.
To: yoe
As a presidential candidate, he's a pretty good doctor.
To: yoe
Frist basically blew me off when I wrote to him how I felt on the illegal-alien menace and my revulsion concerning the Senate Immigration bill. I also believe he couldn't control his side of the aisle worth sh*t. And while being focused on Islamo-fascism is job #1... it's not the only threat that America is faced with.
Don't wait for me to jump on his bandwagon.

The GOP will be lucky to maintain control of the Senate.
He may be a good man, a good doctor, but he IS NOT PRESIDENTIAL
material.

Is he a ruthless SOB? If not, he does not qualify for 08. ROFL. Great comment and I think you're right. Nice, nice was necessary in 2000 with all those soccer moms but with the WOT and immigration, people are looking for someone to kick butt.

Nice guy but he will need a spine transplant. If he is getting out maneuvered by Harry Reid how can he handle malevolent heads of states

LOL. He has no cajones, either. Is Kahoona the Hawaiian translation?
