The Republican party elites have accomplished something that the Democrats never could. When it comes to the top of the Republican tickets, I am no longer able to support or vote for them.
I'm sure they'll get their share of leftist votes though, so I'm comfindent they won't miss mine.
If they should run a conservative, I'll still be out here waiting. Like I'll ever see a day like that again...
Let us not forget that Colin Powell, a lifelong soldier and government official, upon leaving the Clinton Admin (1st term) became an agent for the Saudis and UAE and quickly became a mega-millionaire. He pulled some of his pals along with him... Armitage, Zinni,....
All became millionaires and Powell became the Chief of the UAE/Saudi cabal in Washington, D.C.
All the other players bow at his feet. He does not need to be POTUS.
Marc Grossman and Joe Wilson went to the same college in Santa Barbara in the same year and had parralell careers in the Middle East and Europe at the same time, per Clarice Feldman (she has great info)!! They are FRIENDS!!

He served as the Deputy Director of the Private Office of Lord Carrington, the NATO Secretary-General, from 1983 to 1986 and at the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan from 1976 to 1983.

Powell was one of those people that the MSM jumped on as their own affirmative action candidate. I think it all went to his head and he really thought he was hot sh&*. I think he screwed up the first Gulf War.

The prosecutor knew. And Armitage and Powell could have gone public when Judith Miller was arrested. No need to wait for prosecution of Libby.
They were public servants and the cause of this and they did not fulfill their public obligations regarding things of which they had REAL KNOWLEDGE and thus keep innocent people from being prosecuted.
I think there is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE here somewhere. With Powell, Armitage and/or Fitzgerald.

Look, we could banter back on forth on this, but I'll cut to the chase. A guy can do these things. If he can win votes, good for him (not necessarily the nation), but I won't soil myself by throwing my vote their way anymore.
Either a candidate will speak out on conservative issues and govern from a conservative position, or they'll be elected by someone else. I'll have no part of it.
I've seen too much slippage. I won't play along to get along any longer.

Powell is NOT an R....Thank God.....he's a corrupt coward.
He may have been affected by the media adulation. I didn't follow him quite close enough to comment on his Gulf War actions. I do think it was pre-ordained that we wouldn't go after Hussein. I'm not convinced Powell set that policy.

For some time there Powell's name was being thrown around as a good prospect for public office on an R ticket. Now Condi is. I believe that when we know more about Condi, we're going to find out she's a lot more like Powell than we would like to think today. If she were place on an R ticket, that being the case, I couldn't support her. That's all I'm saying. And of course that is predicated on her actually turning out to be a lot like Powell or some such.
