The Powell-Armitage-Wilkerson Cabal
The American Thinker ^ | 8/30/06 | Ed Lasky

Posted on 08/30/2006 1:02:09 PM PDT by the Real fifi

Draw your own conclusions from the fact that Armitage’s best friend Colin Powell called Dick Cheney’s supporters (including Scooter Libby, Doug Feith and Paul Wolfowitz) the “Gestapo Office” (quite insulting considering that there is a history of relatives lost in the Holocaust among them).

Factor in that Powell called Doug Feith “a card-carrying member of the Likud Party” and referred to the Likudnicks in the White House controlling policy during his “exit interview with Bush” (see Assassin’s Gate: America in Iraq) – thereby showing his support for anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists.

This is part of the same group that uses the term "neocon" as a code word for a Jewish cabal. Just ask Chris Matthews and Pat Buchanan.

The real "cabal" that needs to be investigated is Scowcroft-Powell-Armitage-Wilkerson and also State dept. hacks like Marc Grossman (Joe Wilson pal, formerly in high position under Powell). The RINOs and State Dept. lovers of the Aspen Institute and the Council on Foreign Relations never could accept that they had not been elected President or Vice-President and that they did not run US foreign policy.

People on forums throw around some pretty lose terms, such as "Gestapo Office" or some such. It's rather strange to think that a professional at the level of Colin Powell would use such rhetoric. This is a charged term that reveals some of Powell's inner being, and it's not exactly flattering.

At one point Powell's name was lofted for high office. At the time I thought we knew far too little about his core beliefs. That view has been proven over time to be pretty accurate.

I have to say I have some of the same concerns regarding Condi Rice. I'll have to know a lot more about her before I could every consider voting for her.

Powell's comments do sound as if he's bought into the theory that the 'evil' Jews "run everything". That pretty much ranks him as a zero in my opinion.

There's a great deal of truth in what you say. Watching the pre trial proceedings, it struck me that Fitz was utterly unaware than Grossman (who surely helped put the finger of suspicion of Libby and Rove) was a lifelong friend of Wilson and Plame.

Yeah, and I have yet to see the name Marc Grossman be mentioned in this week's articles about the role of Armitage, etc. Let's see, Armitage and Grossman worked very closely together at State but NEVER ever discussed Wilson, Plame, the jihad against the White House, etc.??? Or maybe just maybe it WAS a topic of discussion between them and none of the MSM has yet caught on to the questions they should be asking of Armitage, Grossman, the Wilsons, Colin Powell, and others? How can any supposedly competent (sic) journalist write an article about Armitage as the leaker and not look AGGRESSIVELY at Marc Grossman?

Where is Powell & Armmitage hiding?

So we now know who leaked. Where's the Bid Media outrage? The silence from Liberals and Big Media for punishing the leaker is deafening.

"Scowcroft-Powell-Armitage-Wilkerson and also State dept. hacks like Marc Grossman (Joe Wilson pal,...."

Hmmmmm, so could it have been the idea of these people to get Wilson to pillow talk his woman into that intel seeking position and then make a political deal with JFKerry?

I think that Wilson approached his woman with the idea instead of the common perception that it was her idea.

I was told, many years ago, that Powell is a creation of Armitage, almost from the ground up. I'm not surprised to see it floating to the top.

Let us all not forget that if Powell is rubbing shoulders with these CLOWNS, (Look at me I am a hero, I served in combat crap - well jerk-offs so did my dad for TWO YEARS IN WWII IN THE PACIFIC, and he would be the last person to act like or claim he was a hero), Powell is an anti-semite.

Powell and Armitage can not be trusted ever again by anyone on the right period. They should be shunned, and anyone that associates with them politically should be shunned too. I am talking to you McCain. You have traitors in your house.

Any man that lets another take the heat for a crime he did is a coward of the worst kind. I would rather fight in a fox hole with a new private that has never seen combat than spend one minute there with Powell or Armitage. At lease I could trust the private. With Powell or Armitage I would be more worried what they were doing than what the actual enemy was.

You would think these two would have been smart enough to realize that by their silence, it would be forever damning to their reputations when the truth came out. I guess they are not that smart.

Does anyone remember the end of the Gulf War when U.S.forces had Saddam's armor trapped near Basra. Schwarzkoff made a statement on TV about being angry that G H W Bush had stopped a little too soon. When asked about this, GHWB seemed surprised and thought that Stormin Norman had agreed to the timing.
WHO was between the General and the President?
None other than Colin Powell!
Saddam later used that same armor to suppress the uprising!

It came out in the pretrial period. Grossman and Wilson went to college together (UCSB), were stationed together in the diplomatic service where Grossman met Wilson. In fact, as I recall, it was Grossman who introduced Wilson to Plame and they have all travelled together on vacations.

Straight up and to the point. Only the unemployment line is good enough for the CFR remnants and their worthless mandarins at State.
