Congresswoman Katherine Harris, the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, received the endorsement of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and Unified Sportsmen of Florida. Katherine Harris has an "A" rating from the NRA, in stark contrast to Bill Nelson's "F" rating.
Bill Nelson, Florida's lackluster incumbent in the U.S. Senate race against Republican candidate Katherine Harris, has received the endorsement of MoveOn.org, a far-left political action group well-known for its defamatory television ads and radical attempts to recklessly pull our troops out of Iraq. Bill Nelson attempts to portray himself as a moderate, but his liberal voting record and political endorsement by MoveOn.org provide a much different picture of who Nelson actually represents.

Why did she give up a Congress seat for life for a premature run at the Senate?

Looks like the Harris Campaign is gaining steam with the NRA Endorsement and will surge ahead in the polls to beat Nelson by a Landslide.

Did Florida already have its primary? If not, when is it? Doesn't Harris first have to get past McBride?

Harris is a friend of second amendment supporters, the Conservatives areas of Florida North, Northeast etc will respond to Harris campaign following this NRA endorsement.

Good. I hope Harris get the endorsement of other conservative-leaning organizations. Like it or not, since the state GOP didn't offer a stronger alternative, she's pretty much the Republican choice now. Why don't they support her 100% and make sure her campaign works smoothly? She may not win, but at least we will be able to say that we support our own.

Sorry for the delayed pings, folks. I just got back to Florida after a five-day software developers conference, and I am now currently suffering a sever bought of shingles. Gonna be a couple of weeks until I'm fully operational again, so I won't be around as much as usual.
