I hope you're right, but let's not kid ourselves. Murtha's got a ton of money and a lot of connections. This is gonna be a fistfight down to the end.
It is a total battle.
However, when we get to read these articles, we are seeing something Murtha hasn't had to do for decades, really run.
George $oreA$$ will provide his hand puppet, Murtha, all the money that Murtha can spend.
For Rent: Outside Baghdad, Used "Spider Hole", once occupied by Saddam Hussein but currently available, $150 per week, no deposit required.
His stunning arrogance has certainly come back to bite him. We'll see if America's military supporters truly rally to finish him off.
Hopefully, he will suffer and suffer each day until his hatriotic A$$ is booted out of Congress this November.
Then, he will be shunned by both parties and will be like a traitor in exile.

That may be a very good thing. Murtha has to have an above average IQ. It is required to be an Officer in the military. But he is also very stubborn.
Stubborn people tend to, like all other people, make mistakes. But stubborn people continue to make the same mistake over and over again.
He may have very well thought that Cut and Run would sell to the American people. But stubborn people refuse to admit they are wrong.
It is also evident that Murtha is calling the shots. There is NO WAY someone working for a mean person like Murtha would pull the ads with out permission. Murtha pulled them or authorized pulling them.
The proper way to handle it, as alluded to by the show host, is to buy lots of spots on the station and try to come across as a really nice guy. It creates doubt.. On one hand the host is trashing the candidate on the other hand the candidate seems nice. If a candidate does a good enough job ... it is a draw. A very good media candidate can make it a positive. Murtha made it a disaster.
It also tells you that perhaps ... just perhaps... things are not as good in Murtha land as many of us have thought. It could be that Murtha thinks, "If I am gonna lose anyway... I sure as hell am not going to give that chain of stations any campaign money." I don't think that is true, but it has to be trending Irey's way.
Irey is doing the right thing. She is not trashing Murtha. She is pointing out the errors of his ways, while remaining calm cool and collected.
We have absolute proof that Murtha can not hold his cool. It is very likely that many media people will try to make Murtha blow his cool. Murtha does not realize that when ever two media people are in a bragging contest ... "What do you mean you are a good reporter.. You can't even make Murtha blow his cool."
"I can't make Murtha blow his cool... huh... Watch this!"
Murtha may be in for some very very hard media time. I would say we are in for a media feeding frenzy?
If Mrs. Irey does indeed send his sorry arse packing, he'll be dropped like a hot potato. He'll be a political supernova.
I'd love to see this, if for no other reason than it would make the reporters at least seem somewhat human (childish, yes in this instance) and not just mind-numbed liberals protecting their leftist candidate at any cost.
WooHoo! I'm with you Grampa! Great post. ;*)
The local Sheriff (a Democrat of course) was being razzed by some Republicans. They said they heard that after the election he was going to be installing mufflers at the Muffler house. The sheriff got ticked.
He sent a Deputy over to tell me to take that commercial off the air. I told him to go fornicate himself. I used a synonym for Fornicate. That soon brought the Sheriff to the station with his hand on his hips and his hip had a pistol. He thought that was going to intimidate me.
I called for my engineer to bring me a live microphone. While he was getting it I told the sheriff that he had no right to tell me what to air.
He told me if I wouldn't take the commercial off he would get my client to take it off. That really ticked me off. I called the client and told him to expect a call from the sheriff and if he got one to call me.
My Client was ordered to show up at the sheriffs office at 10AM the next day. At 10am he did so ...along with me, 6 Television Stations, 14 Radio stations and 6 newspapers.
Two of the TV stations had choppers so they could do live video.
The Sheriff ran out the back door and had a lawyer come out to face us. He asked the Reporter from Channel 10 how long she was willing to wait for the Sheriff to return. She replied that if he was not back by the 6 O'Clock news that she would have to stay until 11. That paid double time. If he was not back by the next evening she had a good shot of making the CBS evening news on the story of the missing sheriff and the Incarcerator muffler. If he was not back by Sunday she just might make 60 minutes. Of course it might take two weeks to get on 60 minutes. But that is the price you pay for sure thing story. She asked him if he had any idea what a Columbus Ohio TV reporter would do to get on 60 Minutes? I think he did.
It is like this.. if you can intimidate one member fo the media. you can intimidate all members of the media. If a candidate tries to suppress any member of the media, especially in the pocketbook, all of the media will attack him. By the way not a single member of the media turned me down. And I got lead story coverage.. all one sided .. for me.
The day after the story hit the Sherrif got the Mansfield News Journal to run a story saying it was all just big publicity stunt for me. He said I got a million dollars worth of free publicity.
I then called Ohio Magazine in Columbus and had them run a story on the Sheriff and the Incarcerator... When the magazine came out I mailed a copy of it to the sheriff with a note that said .. "I was adding up all the pubicity I got and it only came to $987,000 dollars worth. Didn't want to make a liar out of you so I had this story run to make it an even million."
Not a single member of the media turned me down. Yes they knew I was conservative. But if a sheriff could take me on...then a congressman might get the idea to take the TV stations on. Never, ever get in a fight with a man that buys ink by the barrel or power by the kilowatts.
What this sheriff did not know is the media hangs together. Murtha will likely find out the same thing.
Perhaps at one time. He is 74 years old. Listen to him speak. He can barely stutter through one coherent sentence today.
He may have very well thought that Cut and Run would sell to the American people.
I can understand why he would think such a thing if he listens to polls (spit) and watches/reads nothing but the enemedia. He is out of touch with his constituents and the American people. You cannot remain viable if you don't look outside the beltway.
Hey .. I'm pushing 70... Are you telling me Murtha is what I have to look forward to??? In just four short years????
You use your mind, giving it exercise, using it for good, so you have a healthy functioning brain.
The other "person" in question does not. There is a big difference between you two.
I hope that makes what I said more clear. ;*)
LOL.
Great photo montage!
That picture's worth more than 1,000 words.
see #71
good story, tator!
