Thank You from the D.C. FReepers.
We need to make you a Honorary D.C. FReeper. You have been so active since your accident.
And Thank You and Just A Nobody for keeping track of us on our way home, making sure we made it.

Traffic was stopped on 495 when I went home. Ya, Right! Maybe I should give you the "Chief Wimp" Title. Then you can do next week's AAR. :-))

"Rain or shine."
EVERY time I see these threads: I think back about the bleak days.
The Bleak Days: those days during which Medea Benjamin, et ali owned the PERMITS to hold vigils in front of all four corners of Walter-Reed.
If I was driving by I'd honk my horn. Then I'd have to turn around again just to be able to drive by while honking. Then I'd have to turn around again just to head back to where I was originally headed (of course I'd have to honk as I was driving by for the third time).
I wish there was some sort of government assistance that would pay for me to fly out that way to help you guys protest. Hey, I'm out of work, I have all the time in the world. I have no money.
Who protests now adays any more? Except for people on the government dole. That's not a dig on you guys, nor is it sarcasm: its called black irony at its epitome.

Sun is now down but I still appreciate all the DC Freepers effort.
I just could not convince the family to let me go Friday night. I have to borrow a car from them and they were not going out in that rain themselves.
You guys are real troopers to brave the storm! Thank You.

Thanks to all who braved the elements (Ernesto) to be outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Friday. I hope no one gets sick from standing in the cool temperatures and heavy rain.

9-2 was Saturday, not Friday. I'll be honored to take Apple Blossom out on her birthday, so long as you pay. Otherwise she gets The Olney Tavern!!
Apple Blossom - BMW is taking about you again.
There BMW, that should get you into the dog house!! :-))

They are still accepting Hurricane Katrina damage applications aren't they. Maybe you can get one of the $2500 credit cards. I'm sure there are still some sitting around on Nagin's desk for his cronies.
You are right about the pleasure of having all four corners.
Thanks for your support when you were here.

My birthday dinner was absolutely fabulous, except for the mint I had on my way out the door. I almost choked! Note to self...next year, skip the mint.

We're glad your family had some sense and didn't give you the keys. Your still not quick enough to jump between the rain drops and stay dry.
Being out here with your foot still giving you troubles earns you the name "Trooper". You're just not a rainy day trooper, yet.

The dog house has electricity. I thought only Tammy Baker's dog house had electricity and air conditioning.
