Sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound like I thought she had little hope.
Still, an incumbent that's thrown around as much patronage as Murtha is formidable even if he is a declared enemy of our own troops. Remember, the voters are not just stupid, sometimes they're actually insane.
I'm hoping Diana Irey will bring them to their senses. I like seeing the vets lining up with her. Maybe another Swift Boat attack is in the making here, this time with Murtha as target. That looks like some heavy artillery she's got there.

I don't know. The rally is an effort by VFTT, under the PAC (political action committee) umbrella. There cannot, by law, be any coordination between the Irey campaign and VFTT. I don't know what the laws are regarding her potentially appearing there... or nearby.

One has to expect many see no wrong in what Murtha has done, even for those that actually understand what he has been trying to pull off. Lots of un-educated folks to deal with, and those that can never open their minds.

YEAH, that's what I was thinking. Best she not attend.That's her call. If it's illegal, the choice is easy. And if it's unclear, I personally would err on the side of caution and stay away.
But if it's legal, I'd be working that crowd like crazy! :-)

I sure do hope this rally shall go over well. No one getting hurt nor any un-pleasantries. Just good old fashion American spirit of unity for a cause the will effect this whole nation as many of us have said in the past.
I wish Godspeed to all that will attend during travel. Surely some shall come from a long distance.
Let us pray the efforts of all shall bear good fruit.
