It sounds like this broad is a similar to those feral animals Steve was always talking about. He would catch them and use them for croc bait when he need to catch and relocate a croc.

In a sense, this woman is the only one who gets this right; Irwin, in his own way, was as wrongheaded about his self-appointed mission as the harridan who wrote this critique since neither has(d) come to the aid of these creatures as a response to a request from the creatures themselves.

Confusion begets confusion, and meddling with wildlife can get you killed.

Crikey! We'll have to approach her with the greatest of care if we are to get a sample of her venom so we can start working on developing an antivenin.

My guess with her, there isn't a cure.

She is a bitter, angry and, in this case, jealous person.

No doubt she's especially jealous of Terri Irwin.

Is that for real?

She is one sick,sick person.

Just my opinion of course.

Greer's always been this way. I have long considered her inveterate hostility to be the sign of a deep inferiority complex, and her tendency to blame the ills of society on men a sign of her stubborn refusal or downright inability to take her own share of responsibility for same.

It was in her day, long past now, that feminism began to borrow certain characteristics from Marxism, specifically its adherents' claim to membership in an oppressed class. That has two effects - it absolves the claimant to any responsibility for the status quo, and it offers a similar absolution for any reprehensible behavior of any sort. It is literally never having to say you're sorry either for the way things are or for anything you do. Nice work if you can get it.

Her response is a scream. I can't stop laughing. I guess she's saying that she's stuck at the reptilian level of her brain and that's how she "knew" the crocs were in distress.

Ah yes.. a woman's way of knowing.. lol.

How can a Nation as great as Australia produce Germaine Greer?

What a horrible person.

While we are on a roll:
Some folks die at the wheel while commuting to an office. Others die in bed doing what they do best.
Some die of food or drugs or booze or what ever else they love.
Some die of a wound from a brother fish and would prefer no other end.
Greer will die of chewing bitter pills, a fitting end to a fretful life.

I've not read a whole lot about it but my daughter told me this evening that they surmise the ray may have felt cornered because Steve was above him and the cameraman below. While I am sure that Steve was aware at all times about his position with regards whatever animal he was around- he may not have taken into consideration the position of the cameraman. I say this because he was much more used to a flat 2-dimensional area of movement and the 3-d underwater world is a whole 'nuther ballgame which he was probably not as comfortable in.

That hot place I was posting about is fresh in my spirit because of a recent program I watched at the below link. Chilling...

Bill's 23 minute visit to hell.

I don't think even Steve Irwin would have held this poisonous...thing at arm's length.
