ABC toned down a scene that involved Clinton's national security adviser, Samuel "Sandy" Berger, declining to give the order to kill bin Laden, according to a person involved with the film who declined to be identified. "That sequence has been the focus of attention," the source said.
The network also decided that the credits would say the film is based "in part" on the 9/11 panel report, rather than "based on" the report, as the producers originally intended.

Whatever happened to fake but accurate reporting?
I will say that this series has my leftest friends in an uproar. The emails I have gotten have gone over the edge. Now the line is; the series is the product of big business out to destroy the democrat party, that Bush used his power to have this movie shown now and that it is a pack of lies and that Clinton did everything the could to protect America but it was Bush, along with big business that brought on the attacks. The last email contained a statement that everyone should vote democrat to protect their jobs. This is going to be fun.
The tweaked ABC miniseries will now focus on the team of 100 CIA agents who snuck into the towers the night before to plant thousands of explosive charges in key supporting structures. It will also focus on the cruise missile that hit the Pentagon and re-create the diversion of Flight 77 to Area 51 where the crew and passengers (including the wife of solicitor general Ted Olsen, played by Merryl Streep) were summararily executed.
Of course that was just a practice run before they blew up the levies in New Orleans.
ABC is toast. They just proved they are a shill for the liberal Dem propaganda machine. Dems can celebrate, but this will have long-term consequesnces. Seems as if TV docs lately are turning into video Wikipedias. One or the other sides forces changes and when the show airs, we see the latest version.

a. Wanted ben Laden killed?
b. Didn't want ben Laden killed?
