Certain people in the black civil rights industry are getting very nervous about the growth in hispanic population while black growth is stagnant.

In the last election, George W. Bush received 11 percent of the black vote, an increase of 2 percent from the 2000 race, and more than any Republican presidential candidate in history.

Actually, republicans probably recieved 100% of the black vote up until 1932; they were traditionally the champions of civil rights, while the dems. were segregationists. (It was Woodrow Wilson who segregated DC for the first time, for example.)
