I was corrected yesterday on tne new Phase II report that has been released. The report says one thing but the Democrats comments say something else. Of course, the comments made the news, not the report.

I wish someone on the Republican side would point out that (1) the Dems are actively working for us to lose this war and (2) whether or not one agrees that Iraq is the central front on the War on Terror, that our enemy certainly sees it that way, and a 'loss' for us there, even if it's a 'redeployment' will have both immediate and severe and long-term and severe repercussions.

Knew Timmy would get around to the Senate report.

Jayana Davis and Lorie Mylorie have documented the links between the OKC bombing and Sadaam numerous times. No one out there wants to read or hear about it anymore. Sometimes the truth is not enough. You have to think that this is at least part of the reason why we are in Iraq.

Madeleine Albright Mistaken For Cleaning Lady

Culture/Society Breaking News News Keywords: ALBRIGHT KOSOVO
Source: Wirebreak
Posted on 02/09/2000 08:10:47 PST by M. Peach
Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was mistaken for a maid during last year’s peace negotiations for Kosovo in Rambouillet, France. According to a report in the "New York Daily News," the Secretary of State at first wasn’t recognized by the Albanian delegation when she walked into their room.

“One member of the delegation, who didn’t realize who she was, and probably thinking she was some cleaning lady because it was after midnight, simply said to her, ‘Give us five minutes and please go away,’” recalled Albanian diplomat Dugagjin Gorani in War on Europe, a British TV program. Instead, Albright exploded in rage, swearing at the group, according to the reports.

“Mrs. Albright started using explicit language which the translators never could translate into Albanian,” says Veton Surroi, another member of the delegation.

Juan Williams: "Democrats have been lagely supportive of this Administration." Yup, he said that.

Give him that with both barrels and walk off the set.

But then NBC's girly-man, David Gregory would bawl that the WH didn't come out to the (de)press corps fast enough after the 'shooting.'

That is what this thread is all about!!!

I am actually watching the DNC/ABC/Steffi show try to whitewash the miniseries, and at the same time pretend that Clintonistas never threatened ABC/Disney.

Who wrote Timmys questions? John Kerry?

He's hit every DNC Talking Point, has been combative, interruptive, rude, and obnoxious.

This is the Vice President of the United States. Elected twice. He deserves and should insist on a modicum of respect

All true. I do hear our side making this comment from time to time, but perhaps not often enough. I just hope it's enough for voters to remember in November.

I'm waiting now for the 11am Russert show....VP Cheney's calm put downs are much more effective than ugly retaliatory remarks, which would give dems an excuse to dominate the airwaves w/ "See? He was mean to Tim!" IMO.

Juan says things that really annoy me*, but there are times where he can be a pleasant surprise.

I think Juan is starting to see the light. Tony Snow always said Juan was a good guy, and perhaps we're seeing it with his book and his Pubbie son running for office.

Could Juan have insider influence on the libs?

Naaah...that last thougt is probably a stretch.

LOVE CHENEY!!! never more than when he called the NYT column saying he'd lost power, as "another one of those thumbsuckers". LOL

and when Tim asked about Armitage, asking, do you mean to imply "Armitage needs a pardon?"

You can tell the moment Tim ran out of scripted questions...he forgets to form a question, he's silly sounding, off balance, and Cheney gets to poke fun of him.
Tim has run of questions and has 10 minutes to make a fool of himself with "what ifs".

"....They are Stuck on Stupid, longing for a repeat of Vietnam."

They are, IMHO, more than just SoS, they're flat suicidal if they keep harping on Viet Nam.

As much as they whine and complain about "SwiftBoating", none of the dims have bothered to notice that: 1) The SBVets, all 250 of 'em, were just the point man; 2) There's at least a couple hundred TIMES that 250 who have very excellent memories, know very well who it was that first bailed out of 'Nam and then had the MSM give them cover by criminalizing the entire military, almost break out in hives every time some dim like kerry opens his pie hole and, BTW vote at every legal opportunity.

Every word the dims utter on the subject of Viet Nam PO's another few of the people who have Been There Done That off a bit more.

The DNC may begin to think that the Swift Boat Vets were a day at the beach when they postmortem the next couple of elections.

Please tell me that Brit smacked him down for saying such a stupid thing?

Juan has bought into the DUmp philosophy that the Rats MUST be supportive of this administration because Bush has gotten so much of his agenda passed...and the Dims didn't do more to stop him.

*rolls eyes*
