America’s newest Muslims arrive in the afternoon crunch at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Their planes land from Dubai, Casablanca and Karachi. They stand in line, clasping documents. They emerge, sometimes hours later, steering their carts toward a flock of relatives, a stream of cabs, a new life.
This was the path for Nur Fatima, a Pakistani woman who moved to Brooklyn six months ago and promptly shed her hijab. Through the same doors walked Nora Elhainy, a Moroccan who sells electronics in Queens, and Ahmed Youssef, an Egyptian who settled in Jersey City, where he gives the call to prayer at a palatial mosque.
“I got freedom in this country,” said Ms. Fatima, 25. “Freedom of everything. Freedom of thought.”
The events of Sept. 11 transformed life for Muslims in the United States, and the flow of immigrants from countries like Egypt, Pakistan and Morocco thinned sharply.
But five years later, as the United States wrestles with questions of terrorism, civil liberties and immigration control, Muslims appear to be moving here again in surprising numbers, according to statistics collected by the Department of Homeland Security and the Census Bureau.

The flow should have been completely halted for the next 15 years. Ditto the Mexican invasion. Until we get things under control and find the sleeper & terrorist cells - I'd bet in the high 100's - already here.
Expect "honor rapes" and "honor killings" to begin in earnest in every major metropolitan city within a decade.
Naturally, the liberals will insist such things are only happening because we're not "tolerant" enough.
I hope the republicans can get control of the white house, senate, and house and Governorships from those evil democrats.
Then we will stop this nonsense, by limiting the Muslims coming in , and finally having a secure border with Mexico. None of this will happen while the democrats are running the country. - Tom

Yes, you have a point. The Republicans have been less than energetic in correcting the situation.
However, it was the left that put us on this course in the first place, notably Ted "Champion Swimmer and Rapist" Kennedy's immigration "reforms" in the 60s.

I understand that it has very fine and well adjusted tolerances.
To wait quietly until it is time to blow themselves up, along with as many of us as possible!
I'll believe this as persecuted muslims come to America and convert AWAY from the faith that they had no option to denounce in their homelands.

Our problem is we get no help from either party. But then again why should we expect to get things done for the country.

Two political gangs, the Republicans, and the Socialists (who have taken over the democrat party) divide the political spoils between them and make sure no outside candidate, or third political party can ever get elected-with a few minor exceptions.
As a right wing democrat who doesn't have a party anymore, I mostly vote for the stupid, politically inept, anti labor Republicans, because I feel they do less damage to the country and family, and are more suppportive of our Constitution, than are the Socialists,who want to destroy this county.
So you can't really expect either gang to represent you, unless you are a member in good standing, or can buy the influence, either with money, or by delivering votes.
Somehow we must find a way to elect Americans to office, and get around the political parties. -Tom
I can tell you what is wrong with our "leaders." They aren't leaders, they aren't statesmen, they are politicians, and sleazy ones at that. Their country means nothing to them, their power means everything. They are useless, and their current behavior is what causes revolutions.
