Add to that the smaller, less remembered stories, like the mosques in Detroit being allowed to broadcast their call to prayer at times Christian churches cannot toll their bells, or the other protections their mosques get in this country.
It all starts at the State department, which prefers to placate and priveledge our enemies and suspected enemies, and flows downhill through our government institutions, bolstered by corrupt politicians who have been taking blood money from the host countries, corporations that are creating blood money by hiring these immigrants for cheaper wages than citizens, and our own internal terrorists, the ACLU.
That CAIR is given as much mic time as they want, and our own opinions are ignored, is a travesty. Our citizenship is quickly becoming meaningless, except for two things - to pay taxes, and show up at the polls...or else. Opinion? Doesnt matter. Morality? What's that? Patriotism? Outdated. The Constitution? It's a "living" document.

Our own people are putting the gun to our collective heads, and pulling the trigger, all the while pointing away from it to distract. When it goes off, they'll, as usual, start pointing fingers and asking where the gun came from in the first place.
I've always thought immigration was a fine thing, my own ancestors came over from Ireland and England and prospered...but over the last year, I'm beginning to favor isolationism even more. Our country is being torn apart and bleed dry from "immigrants", and we need to start fixing the problems and helping our own before we can take care of the rest of the world.
If we don't close the borders, and stop or drastically cut immigration...we're done as the greatest nation ever. We'll simply be an ATM for the UN and other nation's people. Feel like starting a socialist uprising? No problem, the UN will fund you, and the US will feed your people.
If the Democrats get back in power, it'll be tanks in the streets, like Northern Ireland, within 3 years. The terrorists know that if they do get power back, they will have free reign to accomplish their plots, and will be paid by our own government and given a free pass yet again, they all remember what freedom they had with virtually no reprecussions under Clinton. I've had a sneaking suspicion they've made long term plans for when the President's term is over.
I am a first generation immigrant! However, I am thankful to be in the USA, love this country for its openness, and admire it unreservedly for its freedoms and values.
In his book, Who are We?: The Quest for American National Identity, Samuel Huntington says that there are 2 types of immigrants to the US - 1. ones who leave their original homelands because they share and claim American values (thus the desire to come to the US), and 2. ones who immigrate for economic reasons but then want to reshape American society to their liking (and cultural/political prejudices).
Muslims, illegals, and other "multicultural"/ethnic elements that want to fall in the second category should reconsider their mistaken (and frankly dangerous) beliefs.
Our government is run by PC crackpots. If it does not end, it will cause the destruction of the West.
Note the date. I have it and its predecessor. I'd bet by now those black dots have fruitfully multiplied, bigtime. I pray to God that *someone's* keeping track of these murderous, subhuman muslim-islamist-arabs.

Good point. It seems like the vast majority of recent immigrants (both legal and illegal) are here for financial reasons.
